@adhdjesse One of mine: I’m willing to drive around traffic backup even if it takes longer, just to keep moving instead of sitting there/creeping along.

The ADHD experience is constantly learning that most of the weird quirks I was embarrassed to talk about are actually extremely common among the ADHD community.

@Hookean1 It's rare to hear someone say this. I agree. Teaching, unfortunately, is not an easy science.

@Hookean1 My 'teaching style' has changed as often as my students have. I have seen a whole range of great teachers, among many subjects, who all do great things, doing different things.

For those that need to hear it, there is not one way to teach. I've been teaching longer than most and have learnt what works for me and my classes. It's unique to me. A mixture of methods and lived experience. I'm open to learning more. Refining keeps it fresh.
