I’ve a friend with a farm & he says he pays well but he can only recruit foreign staff. English kids don’t want to do manual work. They all want to be ‘entrepreneurs’ on Vinted.

Because they're not allowed to work. Young boys, especially, want to get out and work. I had my first job at 11 and I loved it. Now they're crowbarred through a bullshit education system and spat out when they've been brainwashed to believe they're piesces of shit and they're directionless and lost. All these deliveroo jobs on bikes could be being done by young lads. The farms around me are desperate for staff, and the teenagers are desperate for work. When they are not legally able to make their own money, and have some independence, they get offered £50 quid or more to "make a delivery" or "catch a train with some gear" or do some shoplifting, and hey Presto! A life of crime. Reduce the working age. Allow kids to work.
