How cute! LTG just sent me this DM on X after today's 1st stream. CLEARLY he doesn't understand it was an April Fools joke! And clearly he types just as badly as he talks, and he's such a coward he blocked me from being able to respond.

You can twist the facts any way you like and try to fool people, but the truth is that Marathon is a great game and deserves all the positive reviews it’s received, and the vast majority of the game’s player base agrees.

@thegameawards It filters out people who need hand-holding. It filters out people who can't solve basic puzzles. It filters out people who can't learn new things. Exploration is an absolute blast, amazing open world, surprises everywhere, rich world.

I hate to say it but Marathon is starting to grow on me. I’m not sponsored or a Bungie creator. I’ve just played it since launch and I’m having fun. I don’t know if the game will last. I’m not saying you should buy it. I’m not ignoring the fact that Bungie completely left D2 to die which makes me salty. All I’m saying is I am actually having fun playing. “What makes it fun?” Well for me it kind of scratches the itch of playing D2 pvp but it’s more hardcore and punishing at times. Which makes the thrill of success so much more exciting. In fact if anything this game might be too hardcore and could hurt it in the long run but I’m not going into all the details of Marathon’s future I’m just simply stating that I’m having fun for the time being

Marathon is pretty good, don’t care for the art style though kinda hurts my eyes after an hour, feels like I’m in Kurt eichenwalds epileptic nightmare after some time
