@MrT_Barry @Carra23 Palmer on about 130-150 so compared to the others in this list he’s basically playing for free. Also he’s the youngest by a mile. The rest I agree on
English

Not a full u-turn but credit where it’s due to Casemiro for looking after himself properly, while playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world on 350k a week🤯
I’ll await your full u-turn on support for Infantino & his World Cup ticket prices 😅
Rio Ferdinand@rioferdy5
More u-turns than Keir Starmer 😂😂😂
English

@SiClancy I was just saying. Clear foul on the goalkeeper but how is he supposed to challenge for the ball himself if being hugged by someone with no interest in the game
English

@R_o_M Do you think it makes a difference that the ref saw one v the other? It shouldn’t but seems like they intervene more when not seen at all
Game’s gone anyway regardless

@Muppetiers Its just an ugly incursion into the game from technology. The ref obvs saw that first time and used his brain to say that's a deserved advantage. Football isn't just about the letter of the law, it has a feeling too.
English

@m1k3sowavy @MrStephenHowson I do get it, because he gives a shit. But it becomes personal v the players and creates an impossible and toxic noise that imo has 100% impacted the club over the years.
There’s no surprise that confident attackers coming from different environments have hit the ground running
English

@MrT_Barry @MrStephenHowson I can understand him using words like embarrassing for us exclusively as he has no reason to feel embarrassed on behalf of another team, but the way he almost eggs on the refs to give decisions against us is wild
English

@MrStephenHowson On comms he gets absolutely stuck on one point and talks about it all game rather than just commentating on the action in front of him. Ends up creating a negative discourse based on whatever point he’s decided to focus on for 90 mins
English

@MrStephenHowson Uses words like embarrassing, pathetic only when commenting on United. Never hear him analysing a loss from any other club using the same type of scrutiny/language.
English

@Malachians This is what I don’t get. Ole had two full seasons after getting the job permanently, coming 2nd and 3rd. As far as managerial appointments go, that’s one the club got right.
English

It’s obviously way too soon to talk about Carrick getting the job and I’m not saying he should but one of the stupidest reasons to not consider him is because of what happened with OGS. What’s the argument? If one caretaker manager got the job and was ultimately sacked then no caretaker manager can ever get the job again because exactly the same thing will happen?
English

@tylerfoster49 @mus_albahr @HarounHickman Here’s an article from 2014 about city chasing a quadruple
talksport.com/football/10547…
And another from 2009 about United doing so
theguardian.com/sport/blog/200…
English

@mus_albahr @HarounHickman Yes it literally did. After 21/22. It's also happened to City. And YOUR fanbase were one of the loudest.
English

This, Carragher’s article…
None of it comes from a good place.
It’s a way to put Arsenal down later in the season if we don’t attain this ludicrous standard of at least (!?) winning a treble.
They’ll say winning the league is “not enough” when we do. So disingenuous.
Sky Sports News@SkySportsNews
🗣️ "It's teed up for them" Lee Hendrie has backed Arsenal to win the treble at 'a minimum'.
English

@GoodVibesJohn For Ugarte. Case quality on the ball and in both boxes can’t be understated
English

@R_o_M Agree to disagree. Not the way I, ideally, want the players who are lucky enough to be at the club to go about things.
Nothing particularly wrong with it either, just disappointing imo. He still went about things a lot better than some other prats (Garnacho).
English

@MrT_Barry Yeh. He doesn’t have a divine right. He never said otherwise, did he? He just wanted to play for a club where he would start (or at least get on the pitch ahead of Ugarte or defenders when we were chasing a goal) so he could go to the World Cup. Absolutely nothing wrong with it.
English

This is the concern. He’s already shown what he’s like when things aren’t going his way. Managers will be well aware of that. Pure petulance. We need more players with Harry Maguire’s attitude, Garnacho/Mainoo/Sancho/Rashford attitudes ffs. THEY are the problem
centredevils.@centredevils
🚨🚨🌕| NEW: Kobbie Mainoo is now expected to STAY at Manchester United. [@TheAthleticFC]
English

@R_o_M Nope, agreed, but as public as it was is not good. He's 20, he doesn't have a divine right to start at United (as good as he is).
Camavinga doesn't start every week, is sub most weeks. Do you think he's making noises to go out on loan? Sit and take your chance when it comes
English

@MrT_Barry He was told the only way he was going to play was if he displaced our best player and captain, Bruno. Nothing wrong with wanting a loan.
English

@DopwellEarl @R_o_M @jonnyescott Yeah I do get that. I just would rather see that said privately instead of the constant briefing of the press, or, see him knuckle down to win his spot back. Scholes didn’t start every week at 20.
Anyway doesn’t really matter anymore, hopefully he gets more of a chance now
English

@MrT_Barry @R_o_M @jonnyescott All he wanted to do was go out on loan to play there was no chance Amorim was going to pick him in front of Bruno...
English

@R_o_M @jonnyescott Breifing media constantly about wanting to leave your dream club doesn't sit well with me. Especially at such a young age.
I do get it, especially being a WC year, but I would prefer to see someone put their head down and be patient, putting out positive noises instead
English

@jonnyescott Petulance? What did he do again? He wanted to go out on loan during a World Cup year because the manager said the only way for him to play was to replace our best player and captain in the team? I’m not taking the piss, just wondering if I’ve missed something.
English

@JohnPorkPM United have always played counter attacking football. The team wasn’t better than City’s, 2nd and 3rd was the absolute maximum he could have gotten out of that squad which is all you can ask for in a manager
66 and 73 league goals in the two full seasons. Since 57 58 57 44
English

@MrT_Barry 2 holding midfielders in every game playing counter attacking football and we couldn't break down any team that played a deep line, it happened countless times.
English

@JohnPorkPM What came next was a 3rd place finish followed by a 2nd place finish. And was gone by Nov in the following season. Do you have a bad memory?
Football was far and away the best we’ve seen at United since Fergie
English

@MrT_Barry and what came next? 3 years of lowering the standards with shit team selections and awful football
English

@ronaldobrown_98 The irony. You are gloating in the failure of another coach at the club you claim to support.
Anyone who was back the manager will be back the next manager. That's how that type of support works by design. There are no agendas, you just support.
