@JSHKT20 What I don't understand, why would there be any other answer

@saltiestcopper I believe it's called a Christmas miracle

Ah the lesser spotted SLT member in fresh PPE only spotted when an MP decides to show their also rare face in public .

Today I joined @WMPolice in preparations ahead of one of the year’s busiest weekends for our emergency services. Thank you to all officers who will be out this weekend and over the Christmas period keeping our streets safe. @jessphillips

@dethedeviltails @mensrightsbunny What . How would that have helped

One of the worst cases I worked on with a father was his psychopath ex. He met her online, such a kind unsuspecting man. She saw him coming. Quickly fell in love & she then announced she was pregnant.
Little did he know, prior to being on the site, she'd looked into having a baby by a catalogue father but thought she'd save her money & destroy an unsuspecting man's life. The second she had the baby, she alienated him. Pushed him out of the home they shared. She had money & a good job, he was an NHS nurse on a low salary. God, that poor man spent 4 years in court. She used the excuse of breastfeeding & threw thousands at lawyers to keep him away but he didn't back down. The judge initially stood by her because of the breastfeeding, the dad caught out her lies so many times thankfully, she'd said he couldn't see the baby boy because she had to feed every two hours, the boy was now 1.
She'd gone back to work and employed a nanny and the dad took pictures of said nanny with his son. Eventually the judge lost his shit with her as at 3 years old she still maintained she was breastfeeding. Laughable! So he was awarded 50/50 which is what we pushed for. But honestly, not before he got shingles from stress of the whole ordeal.

@BoxingKingdom14 Nyika has had 10 pro fights . He isn't ready to fight possibly the best in the division
English

@Nigel_Farage @CharlotteCGill Nigel, if she went to prison then that would fit the criteria of Two tier justice. People don't go to prison for a minor assault .. unless it's against the judge
English

We now live in a country where you can assault a Member of Parliament and not go to prison.
The latest example of two-tier justice.

@TruSchoolSports @JamelHerring I really like Jamel, but let's not kid ourselves . That was Frampton by name only . He was already 2 years gone by then.
English

@JamelHerring I thought your performance vs FRAMPTON was your finest hour. He was a pretty damn good fighter, great performance.
English

Aye I take pride in that 😂. Don’t forget to mention Frampton was 2016 Fighter Of The Year 😁

Your best win was vs a 4’11 Frampton who was a 122 pounder
English

@ReasonableCop A bullet would be cheaper .... Just saying
English

@CarlEveCrime @pursuitofprog @CharlotteCGill As long as there is an incentive. Targets are fine. Unfortunately it's difficult to have incentives in the public sector
English

@MrTryingToBePo1 @pursuitofprog @CharlotteCGill Well, I've been reporting on police, crime, criminals & court for about 27 years now & every time anyone tells me "cops don't do nuffink" I reconsider all the evidently imaginary cases I've covered right up & including jail sentences
I think setting targets was the most damaging
English

@CarlEveCrime @pursuitofprog @CharlotteCGill The BCU merger is the second most damaging thing to the police since I've been in... The first being Connect
English

@CarlEveCrime @pursuitofprog @CharlotteCGill The crime principles make it far too easy to close a report . The supervision is really poor with cut and paste used without the report being read.
In relation my to VIP comment, I don't mean we have extra on for security. We have extra on to promote a falsehood
English

@CarlEveCrime @pursuitofprog @CharlotteCGill Absolutely not. But if those crimes don't affect the victim of a bike theft . They are not a priority to them.
For too long the police have just boshed crimes without doing any investigation.
It's amazing how many resources we find when we have a VIP coming to visit
English

@MrTryingToBePo1 @pursuitofprog @CharlotteCGill Indeed.
But are you saying it should be prioritised over CSE, rape, domestic violence, murder?
English

@torturedfuture @ReasonableCop There must be a formula that makes a Christmas movie . It can't be just that it's happening at Christmas. Otherwise Home alone 100 % isn't a Christmas movie. Elf is about a story of hope and a man finding his lost father .
English

@ReasonableCop @MrTryingToBePo1 die hard is an action movie that takes place during christmas, NOT a christmas movie
compare it to elf, home alone and the million of christmas rom coms… there’s a clear difference
English

@pursuitofprog You should do some work on theft of mobile phones and how little we do to recover them
English

@CarlEveCrime @pursuitofprog @CharlotteCGill Carl. When a person is a victim of crime . That crime affects them. If the bike is the sole means of getting to work, exercising, reducing MH issues . It's a big crime
English

@pursuitofprog @CharlotteCGill Theft has not become "legal".
Cuts to policing numbers, police retiring & resignations has reduced numbers more than Tory replacement drive
Core crimes - violence, drugs, CSE, sexual assaults - has to be prioritised with remaining resources
You're raging about bike theft?
English

@Brick_Cop @pursuitofprog @ukhomeoffice Don't fall into the trap of trying to justify the poor service the public gets . It's not the responsibility of police officers to justify it. it's the Home office, PCC and SLT .
English

Hi Lawrence, I and many Response Cops take your point, but respectfully you’re removing the reality of what we deal with.
On average, per shift there will be 20 Cops, often to look after densely packed boroughs of well over 100,000 residents.
Often we will lose four of those Cops to sit on Constant Watches of People in Custody or Hospital Guards.
That leaves 16 Cops, who will start taking the outstanding calls from the shift before and then new emergencies as they come in.
Emergencies are responded to based on risk and understandably Domestic Violence and Abuse are often our highest priority. As are safeguarding emergencies for children and other vulnerable people. We also have responsibility for reporting and searching for Missing Persons, and to be quite frank a multitude of calls you wouldn’t imagine were the responsibility of the Police, but are.
So I understand what you’re getting at, but until society can decide what is and what isn’t a priority for the Police to deal with and then fund Policing appropriately, I don’t personally know what can change.
I’d throughly encourage you to contact @metpoliceuk to arrange a ride along so you can see the reality of what Policing is up against.
