Cabbages can be grown in pretty ridiculous quantities pretty easily if you have a garden and time to mechanically remove certain pests. Buy seed from the farm supply store. You can buy a ton of beef if you have freezer space.

@TheJerzWay By your math it’s 16% at worst compared to 30% to get that number. Effective rate is even lower if you’re saving in retirement accounts or basically 11% if married filing jointly. At these levels, it’s a lot closer to lower tax jurisdictions.

We are terrible, evil people for wanting fair compensation for what we do. All the sacrifices we have made don't matter. Apparently, we should all be volunteering our very limited free time. Stay in debt forever.

@TheJerzWay Sysco Corp supplies most of US restaurants. They all basically get the same ingredients and it isn't exactly your fresh organic stuff that they get😅 So find it hard to believe its better than in rest of the world...
