Trump has no intention of WINNING the election, his strategy is CONTESTING the election, just as in 2020. This is just laying the groundwork for plausible deniability of the likely violence.

The labor market is very, very tight, and that's good news. But the overall economy is fine-to-pretty-good. The talking point that the economy is GREAT and voters are too dumb to realize it doesn't really check out.

Getting the economic component of the model ready and honestly didn't realize that GDP growth was 2.5% in 2023 and 1.9% in 2022 (and forecasted to be 2-ish or 2.5-ish this year). Which is... fine! But that's an average economy, historically speaking, not a great one.
