@GWRHelp hey - the 17:46 from Bath Spa to Taunton is just listed as delayed but no other information given. Is it worth waiting for it or should I just get the next train?
@GWRHelp the 17:46 from Bath to WSM has wont stop at Bath but will run from Bristol. However with all the disruption due to flooding which ultimately caused the cancellation, how can I get to Bristol?
@firstgwr I saw that buses are accepting train tickets due to the disruptions between BTM and Taunton - will the 8 from BTM to Bristol City Centre accept train tickets so I can get the X1 to Weston?
@gwrhelp waited 30 mins for the 17:46 from BTH to WSM. Only to be told on the train that it’s been cancelled, last stop is BTM. The next train isn’t for 45 mins!! If you had told us at Bath I would have got on an earlier train so I could get home some point before it gets dark!
@GWRHelp I’ve just got off the 17:48 Bath Spa to Taunton because there was a smell of fuel. Now going to BTM, when I check the journey it says the 17:48 has left Bath and will be continuing to Taunton. Is this true or would I be better getting a different train as there’s issues?
@GWRHelp why has the 18:15 BTM to Taunton been cancelled? It was a nine coach train and now the next available service is a 3 coach train, it’s ridiculous!
@duolingo I practiced last night as I have evidence of - then when I log on today it’s used up a streak freeze and says I haven’t practiced?! What the heck - can someone look into this please? Username Mr_Original_
@GWRHelp Thanks - I get confused by the delay repay, so as my train has been cancelled I can claim compensation on what time I get home, vs the time I would have gotten home had my train not been cancelled?
BREAKING 🚨: Keir Starmer and the government are looking into the idea of requiring anyone who streams Netflix or Disney+ to pay the BBC licence fee.
This follows a drop of 500,000 people who stopped paying their TV licence in 2024.
What is your message to the BBC?
@Matthewwest76@victoriabb998h1@weremansonofyar@Britlad95 It’s to watch and/or record all live TV, so if you watch Emmerdale as it broadcasts at 7:30 on ITV you need a TV licence. For catch-up/on-demand, it’s only BBC that requires a licence.
@victoriabb998h1@weremansonofyar@Britlad95 No it's not it's a licence to receive BBC channels ie BBC1 - 4 and Iplayer doest include ITV, Channel 4 or Channel 5 owned channels
@FirstBSA I may be misreading the timetable, but I read it as there should be a U1 from UoBath to Bath Centre at 17:00 and 17:12, however both yesterday and today no buses were here hence me thinking I may be mistaken? Can you confirm the timings please?
