@kingwizzi_tweet @BlessingCh73232 Every point raised here is valid, the biggest issue is her response towards a solution, since she has identified it as a problem. Carry a notepad, download a reminder in your phone for important things, then fight to remember only that one thing.

You’re not “wrong” for forgetting—what happened sounds like a normal oversight, especially since you were new there and even warned him about being forgetful. But his reaction is the real issue. Choosing to end the relationship and block you over one uncleaned apartment after an overnight visit is an extreme response and suggests either poor emotional maturity or a very rigid expectation he didn’t communicate clearly. At the same time, it’s fair that he values cleanliness in his space—but that’s something that should be discussed and set as an expectation, not used as a sudden breakup trigger. So overall: your mistake was minor and human; his response was disproportionate.

"I went to see this guy and I stayed there overnight. We had a good time. We’ve been talking for like two months, and we decided to start dating barely two weeks ago. So I was like, okay, I’ve never been to his house before, let me go and see him. This was my first time going there. I didn’t sleep all through the night. He woke up as early as 7am and went to work. He told me where to drop his key when I wanted to leave. I’m the kind of person that is very forgetful. I forget things quickly, easily. When he was leaving, he told me, ‘Please help me shut my windows, because if rain falls, it will wet my bed.’ I had to tell him, ‘Please call me and remind me because I will forget.’ After he left for work, I just knocked out. I slept till like 9. I called him and I was like, ‘Hey babe, I want to leave, please send me money.’ He sent me money, and that was when he reminded me to shut the window. I had it in mind to arrange where I slept and at least take the food he got me the night before that I didn’t like and throw it in the trash because I’m sure it had already spoilt by morning. I had it in mind to do all those things, but I forgot. I completely forgot. I left his house without arranging the bed. I didn’t take out the food. I just left. He later called me and was like, ‘You left my house unkept. I came back and my house was sm£lling. The food you ate, you didn’t take it out.’ So I apologized to him on the phone and told him I was sorry, that it wasn’t intentional. He was like, ‘Okay, no problem,’ and we ended the call. I still felt gu!lty about what I did, so I texted him again to apologize. Later that evening, he texted me saying he had thought about it deeply and that it might seem small to me, but it was a big thing to him. He said he was no longer interested in the relationship since we had not gone far, and then he bl0cked me everywhere. He didn’t even allow me to respond. The same person that had been telling me ‘I love you, I love you, I love you.’ This is the first time a man is breaking up with me. I’m always the one that does the breaking up. Please let me know if I am wrong or right...” - Lady shares how her boyfriend allegedly broke up with her after she forgot to clean his apartment after visiting him.

"Pls, I need serious advice. I know it's my mistake, but hear me out. A man came & proposed to me twice, & I rejected his proposal cuz I didn't have full information about his financial status. The guy was too impatient. Somehow he met my sister then went ahead & proposed her. Actually, he didn't know we're related. She accepted him so easily. They went ahead & got married. He only discovered when they came to see my parents for bride price that she's my little sister. The issue here is that the man is an accountant. He also runs businesses in the city. He is a rich man. When I ask for money from him, he tells me to pass through my sister. But when I go to my young sister, she will only give me ₦55k or sometimes 45k. Her husband gives her sometimes close to 700k from the businesses & She'll give my parents 150k & her husband's mom 150k too. But to me, she's been stingy. She doesn't know this man was actually mine. He proposed to me first. If I want, I can start telling him to go out with me. For him to propose to me first, it means he loves me more than her. She's very stubborn & boastful. On several occasions I've pleaded with my sister to equip my saloon of which it'll cost just about ₦900k to ₦1m but she keeps complaining that she's trying save money for her own business for now & necessarily doesn't want to ask from her husband... I'm actually the first born. Most times, i feel she's doing all these things especially giving our parents allowances every month as financial support and at the same time refusing to help me so i can also stand on my feet is cuz she wants to show off or probably belittle me, cuz i do not support our parents financially that much for now, since I'm not financially stable. It makes me feel so embarrassed. Please don't judge me, Every first born will understand me. I honestly feel so embarrassed & hurt as a first child. I'm truly hurt watching my sister trying to take my place as the first born. I feel ashamed, It's embarrassing & I can't help but nurse hatred for her"

Her neighbor r*ped her 13-year-old daughter at knifepoint. He served seven years, then walked free on parole. The day María del Carmen García ran into him near her home, he looked her in the eye and asked how her daughter was doing. She went and bought gasoline. She found him in a bar. She poured it over him and lit a match. Antonio Cosme d*ed in the hospital with burns over 90% of his body. María del Carmen García was arrested the same day. What would you have done in her place?

Zamfara Governor Budgets N1 Billion to build ultramodern Cemeteries Across 14 LGAs as B@ndit K+llings Persist Amid persistent insecurity and recurring d+adly att@cks, the Zamfara State Government has budgeted N1 billion for the construction of cemeteries across 14 local government areas of the state. The allocation is contained in the state’s approved 2026 budget under the Ministry of Religious Affairs, at a time when several communities continue to experience vi+lent a+sa¥lts linked to b@nditry. The budgetary provision comes against the backdrop of repeated k+llings across the state. On Wednesday evening, b@ndits reportedly ambushed residents of Kyaram community, k+lling at least five people, with several others still missing. In a related att@ck, at least four residents of Gwargwaba village in the Nahuce District of Bungudu Local Government Area were k+lled on January 29, 2025, after suspected b@ndits stormed the community.

Sadio Mané is trending online for refusing to hug a fan because, according to some people, the fan was not dressed appropriately and he is Muslim. However, this is Mohamed Salah of Egypt—also a Muslim—hugging a model. I don’t think this is about Islam or religion; it’s a matter of personal belief. Let love lead, because at the end of the day, we are all human.

Lagos is an interesting place. I took indrive today, and it was a female driver. This woman came to pick me after going to the market. The whole car was smelling smoked fish. She then asked if she could wind down so that air would come in 😂

Someone would read this and think the security architectures are performing fantastically well, yet they've been battling insecurity for years. "Police Barracks 5 minutes away" but the same police is struggling to effect an order of both the IG and the C-in-C of all policemen attached to VIPs to fall back to base. 15th of June 2024, planes few over the villa. Do you know how porus your security is for an unauthorized plane to fly over the villa? Something that shouldn't be 20km close. Planes will enter the Nigerian airspace and turn off transponders or some don't even care, yet no bombers are deployed to intercept. A security system that relies on the length of a motorcade, an obvious presidential escalade with nothing more than it being bulletproof and having run flat tires (even the beast has 2 replicas that change positions), the presidential jet is just a jet instead of a military fortress in the skies, the presidential helicopters are just basic and not in active service (they prefer to stop traffic 3 hours before the 100-car convoy passes), nothing asides from vibes and a hundred cars with guns sticking out. I don't like this administration for anything but the least you can do is be serious about the protection of the president and the citizens. Everyone is just doing anyhow. That's how they took him to fly over Niger right after the tensions and was chased out of their airspace. If you're not ashamed, I am.

I've said it many times A coup is impossible in Nigeria. They will always be caught. Always. Aso Villa has at least 6 military bases behind it. But very close to it you have the DSS, NSA and the police headquarters with a police barracks 5 minutes away You Must have all these people on board for a military coup to succeed in Nigeria and it's impossible Tribalism will thwart the efforts. As you can see from the last alleged coup, the names were all from one tribe and the person who called it from an opposite tribe. People don't know that the DSS, NSA and a huge part of the DIA are not loyal to the military. They will return fire with the military if push comes to shove. The police will also return fire. Anyone who plans a coup in Nigeria is banking on the old glory of the past military coups or is blatantly naive.
Jerry Durojaiye@kokomatic

The way the Aso Villa is structured, I’m convinced a military coup in Nigeria would be almost impossible. IBB and Abacha really built layers of security into that place. Nigeria is too big and too complex for a group of soldiers to just show up and announce a takeover from a radio station. You can only oust a Nigerian president by assassination which is almost impossible because the president is protected by the DSS and not soldiers. Long live democracy in Nigeria 💪💪
