@PaulTassi We want to be able to have adventures side by side with our friends, hop in, hop out, and just explore forever. That's why Forsaken was so beloved. And Witch Queen. Places to explore and mysteries tucked away. And not always fucking sweaty (looking at you Marathon).

Destiny also had magic in it, when halo did not.
you can list a bunch of differences between d2 and Halo but at the end of the day bungie only had the money to make Destiny because of the success of Halo!

I’m sorry but I have to be blunt here, comparing the 2 situations is so mind numbingly idiotic. They are in no way shape or form similar for a plethora of extremely obvious reasons that it’s baffling you didn’t consider them. 1. Halo is not a live service game. 2. Bungie didn’t “kill” Halo. They passed the torch to someone else. 3. Bungies narrative story for Halo was over. They told the story they wanted to tell. Now you could have made this argument for Destiny as well after Final Shape had they ended things there. But they didn’t. Bungie were the ones who INSISTED that Destiny was not over and that they had far more stories to tell. And they did so specifically because they wanted players to keep spending money on it. That was their decision and it was one born purely of greed. Only for them to turn around a short time later and be all “actually guys we lied the story really was over.” 4. Halo never locked away paid for content, never to be seen again nor refunded. I can keep going but these are just a few obvious ones

@QuiteShallow The purpose of endgame is to give you something to work towards.
it's called aspirational content you are not meant to rush through the majority of the game just to play the endgame, you get there at your own pace
If you felt rushed in the past that's not typically the purpose

Endgame is a mistake. If you have no endgame the game is the game. If you have endgame the game is something you need to rush through and get out of the way to get to the actual game.

I feel like this is the biggest complaint with most Looter Shooters/ ARPGs. Lack of endgame. Anthem, Outriders, launch D4, etc. Yet Warframe is now the longest standing game in the genre and it legitimately lacks endgame. What’s their secret?

@hiyahiper You can get as many gold misriahs as you want if you farm compiler and save your ganglions for the barter, something that lots of people will be able to do from very early on next season so if it's not changed it will be just as bad starting much much earlier in wipe.

Gold misriah is 10x the problem the wstr or knife were but remains untouched (even nerfing the circuit breaker gold so now you can't even compete against it with that very well) I don't get it.

here you can see how the bully stops in its tracks and sticks onto the players crossing the bridge over 70 meters away with HIPFIRE!!
it then perfectly tracks someone whos 70-80 meters away (bully max range is 40m) :)

@MrbaconSL @maevesfw This guy has lost the plot. The gold mod makes it so it has perfect hipfire accuracy. The aim assist is tracking that guy like crazy with the mod. The tracking is crazy with all guns because its aim assist. Do you know how many MnK players can track like that? Basically 0.
