Year 1 have had their very own street party to celebrate the Queen’s Silver Jubilee! We have been learning about childhood in the 1970’s and today the children learnt about this very special historical event.

As part of their @janeconsidine English unit The Friendship Bench, Year 2 had to work as a team today for their experience day. They generated lots of vocabulary about the skills they needed to be a teamplayer and how it felt to achieve a goal together!

Today, Year 4 have been playing games to help them with place value. They used dice to create numbers and then had to represent their number in different ways. 🧠🧐

Year 3 and Miss Brookes had such an incredible day at Tatton Park for their Stone Age to Iron Age day. We learned how people at that time lived, how to build shelters, how they hunted and gathered their own food and even how they made their own fire 🔥 It was an amazing day!

For #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek💛 Year 1 have read the book, ‘The Circles All Around Us’. They then discussed ‘How are we connected at St Hilda's?’ and created their own bauble to describe themselves. They look amazing Year 1!
