Excuse me, Duchess, I think you dropped a couple of names there.
Duchess Florence Harbottle@MrsFHarbottle

@heyitsmeCarolyn I remember getting uproariously drunk with Elton at his mansion in Old Windsor before we decided to crash Rod Stewart's favourite pub in Virginia Water. "Hello Phyllis!" screamed Elton. "Christ, it's Sharon!" replied Rod. Their drag names for each other were rather tame.

@SoveyX I've been on Her Majesty's Britannia, Kashoggi's Nabile and Onassis's Christina O. The first rule if one must have children is they're kept below decks - yes, even Charles, Anne, Andrews and Edward.

@MrsFHarbottle @Deborahw37 @Wisdom_HQ Drivers begin to form an emergency corridor as soon as traffic slows down, regardless of whether an emergency vehicle is approaching or not. That is, after all, the whole point. Once the lanes have come to a standstill, it is impossible to form an emergency corridor.

It’s not the roads. It’s the selfish animals driving on them. Most drivers see a traffic jam. Germans see a moral responsibility. This is the Rettungsgasse. Under German and Austrian law, you don’t wait for the ambulance to appear in your rearview mirror. You don't wait for the screaming sirens. The very second traffic slows down, the "emergency corridor" must open. The left lane hugs the left. Everyone else moves right. Failure to do this isn’t just a "mistake." It’s a €320 fine and an immediate license suspension. But the law isn't the point, the culture is. They understand that the "center" of the road doesn't belong to them. It belongs to the person who is currently fighting for their last breath. It’s a 40% increase in survival rates because paramedics don't have to fight through a wall of selfish steel.

@TheCleanCarClub I think I'd break a hip getting in and out. The thing about a Bentley is one sits in quite a high position. Why? Well, when one is superior, one has to look superior.

@ChrisHeHim1 News of the demise of One Nation is, firstly, premature and, secondly, greatly exaggerated. Wanting something doesn't make it so, commie pronoun person.

Now I'm two months from the wedding, and my entire bridal party is "gently suggesting" I find something more "classic." My mother-in-law offered to buy me a "proper" dress from David's Bridal. But when I put this on, I see my grandmother's garden, her stories about village celebrations, the culture she left behind when she immigrated. Yes, it's not a traditional white gown. Yes, people might whisper. But isn't a wedding dress supposed to make you feel like the truest version of yourself? I'm torn between keeping peace and keeping this dress that makes my heart sing every time I look at those embroidered birds

This evening, The King and Queen attended a special viewing of ‘Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in Style’, ahead of what would have been The late Queen’s 100th birthday.    As the largest exhibition of Her Majesty’s fashion ever staged, more than 200 items of clothing and accessories across all ten decades of The late Queen’s life are on display.     The exhibition also includes never-before-seen archival material such as fashion sketches, fabric samples, and correspondence.     ‘Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in Style’ is available to visit now and will run until 18th October 2026 at The King’s Gallery in London. Find out more on @RCT.

@MrsFHarbottle @Wisdom_HQ It’s when traffic slows down, not just when you hear a siren . If traffic slows there is an issue ( anything from a breakdown to a major collision . This system gives space for whatever it is to be sorted out safely

It's time to stop pandering to the Karens. Even if they got your lunch order wrong, so what? Be polite and they'll probably fix it. Also, thanks to my American-born husband, I found out the other day what 'ray-anch dressing' is. It basically tastes of sour milk and pepper, with wallpaper paste to bind it.
Time4SumAxShun@Time4SumAxShun

Can't tell who's worse - the Karen losing it because she got ranch fries instead of cheese fries & pulls out her phone to record the "incident" OR the nonchalant & sarcastic manager, who knows he doesn't have to answer to higher-ups, happy to dismiss a paying customer's concerns?

@elonmusk My friend, the Fothergill woman, the one with the explosive colon, started a charity in her name. When all the donations had been received, she was able to buy a cork.
