@UhmitsMissB I am secondary so get ppa differently. I like them on Mondays and Tuesdays so I can get my head round the week, Fridays are good to plan the next week unless I am shattered and then I just don’t do anything useful on a Friday

Why did I make an appointment if you just ring when you want @NHSuk ?? Two missed calls and a text before my appointment time to say I didn’t attend my appointment 🤦‍♀️ not helpful @Roundwellmc

@StudyMaths I use a lot of “spot the mistake” at the moment. It seems so much more appealing to the students than “do all these questions” Same idea really

A change of wording can make a task (sometimes marginally!) more appealing. Instead of "work out the following" try asking "how many have the same answer" #1001MathsBots mathsbot.com/tasks

My daughter wants to be a 4th grade teacher because of her 4th grade teacher. Be a teacher who makes kids want to be a teacher because of their experience in your classroom.

@FunkyPedagogy @dnleslie Exactly what I was thinking. I love my visualiser! For each of my classes I have an exercise book for modelling. So much less reliant on prepared PowerPoints etc than I used to be

Teachers: Could you teach a lesson armed with only a single whiteboard pen and an empty whiteboard? No desktop, no technology. The pupils will have a jotter and a pencil. The lesson will last for 60 minutes. Please comment on why you gave your answer

Frequent advice to new teachers is “build better relationships.” That’s vague and almost impossible to act on. Experienced teachers: what’s one *actionable* practice a new teacher can try tomorrow?
