Direct instruction is joyful & leads pupils to success. Here is a *clip* where I use high frequency & high participation questioning in 3 phases: 1. Check for listening 2. Rehearsal 3. Check for understanding Established routines: all hands up, turn & talk, SLANT & ruler reading

@SchoolsWeek This is not fair to staff in mainstream schools. Pay should be across all schools regardless of what type of school they are. Keep staff by paying them fairly.

Teachers in Australia are given 1.5 months of long service leave for every 5 years they work in education. You can bank it for a super holiday! i.e 10 years = 3 months! Should this be a worldwide initiative? Could be helpful to keep teachers from burn out/quitting? Thoughts? 🤔

@MirrorBreaking_ I think more needs to take this in schools if the teach kids basic first aid and safety this probably won't solve it completely but if it helps save 1 young life than its worked to many kids are falling to this
