The morning was spent at @magdalenoxford, followed by a tour of the city and an Earth Sciences workshop.

A massive well done to our Year 8 basketball team who played against our @GreenwoodAcad friends Nottingham Academy in the City Schools qualification round.
They were victorious winning 26-9 and have qualified for the finals next week!

This week the @BritishArmy came into the academy to work with our Year 10 students. The sessions focused on key employability skills, as well as physical fitness, whilst learning about life in the Army.
Students showed amazing resilience and integrity throughout the sessions!

The amazing impact of Corridor Culture!
Last year @TheWellsAcademy, we recorded 1155 instances of students arriving late to lessons by this point in the academic year!
This year, we’ve significantly tightened our approach. The number has plummeted to 46!

What a great day. The resilience shown by our students and staff. Top moment was watching a year 7 stop to help the runner in front of him who had fallen rather than running past him to claim the victory. Super proud
