Welcome to your next chapter in the #LASSLLC @LASSinspires students! We are so excited to open our doors again. Books have already been taken out and requests have been made for more. We are thrilled to be a place that students want to come to. Libraries are for everyone!

Africville’s story is one rooted in the pride and determination of its people. Despite its demolition, its story lives on. At the Africville Museum, I learned more about the community and discussed how to continue supporting African Nova Scotians.

Doing the work and seeing it bear fruit. I immortalized #ChloeCooley in an exhibit, led in the designation of her on a provincial plaque, contributed to the Heritage minute of her story and wrote and taught about her. Now today is she hononured with a Canada post stamp!
