But, is self-certification likely to yield good outcomes? Will any district believe that the curriculum is non-aligned with best practices?

I had a great day facilitating PLC’s for K-5 staff in Michigan, where we analyzed where and how the science of writing occurs in @BookwormsRW, and then engaged in some powerful collaborative planning.

@pickyandthrivin So it's reading time for those who can read, but instruction and intervention for those who are still learning to read. If the majority aren't reading, it will be difficult to shut the class down to have a "quiet 20" for those who can.

NJ is progressive in many curricular areas, so why not literacy? Bills S2644/A4303 are the bare minimum steps in ensuring that all students have access to HQIM, especially compared legislation from our neighbors in DE. (Continued below)
