It was a morning of football for the girls today #LetGirlsPlay They all had a fantastic time practicing their football and teamwork skills with SSFC @nathankew5 @jack_pringle97 @SouthShieldsFC @STSchoolSport

Y5 have had great fun working with @nathankew5 as part of activities week. We focused on PSHE & the importance of #teamwork & roles we play within the team. We then had a fab PE session of dodgeball with some new rules added in. @simonsideschool @MissTQuinn @MrsWrig95111160

🏹 We had some great fun in forest school this week with @ScoutedSam . As part of activities week we tried some arrow throwing, it was slightly tricky but after some practicing & some #resilience we were all able to throw the arrow correctly🏹@simonsideschool @MissTQuinn

Reading Rocks @simonsideschool We had some wonderful book rock designs to celebrate World Book Day 📕

🕵️‍♂️ Year 5 became maths detectives, when we were given the job of solving The mystery of the place value shop scam. There was some serious discussions going on, lots of working out & great team work ! Who was the culprit ? What did they drive ? 🕵️‍♂️ @simonsideschool @MissTQuinn

A lovely walk to Cathedral quarry today for Yewdale, the children were very good at map reading and guiding each other. @simonsideschool @thurstonoec
