@cckl2019 @WhiteOakElem So heartbreaking. Maddie is a phenomenal educator and the profession lost another of its amazing beginning teachers. NC General Assembly needs to do something to combat the mass exodus that we are seeing in NC schools.

When I say @WhiteOakElem has the best teachers, I truly mean it. Today was the hardest day of fourth grade as we said goodbye to a phenomenal educator. It was a privilege to entrust you with our child. Your impact extends beyond the classroom, you will be sorely missed.

Happy Teacher Appreciation to the amazing @NCStateDesign architecture department for going above and beyond to make our kids critical thinkers and designers. Special thank you to Dr. Morgado for guiding and encouraging our daughter.

After the semester ends, we always discuss favorite moments or things our kids learned. Thank you to Dr. Jennings @jamietheriveter @cscncsu and all of the other comp sci professors who make a difference in our kids lives. Most of all for having strong role models for women in CS.

@nckhui I just heard Franklin county is displacing their librarians and having IAs run it. Is this for the entire county? I haven’t seen anything about this yet unless I’ve missed it.

@msbunn20 @nckhui @dawnbvaughan Cooper has asked for big raises every single year and every year it’s been minimal because of our general assembly. He called for 18% last year.

@nckhui @dawnbvaughan Cooper has been governor for 8 years, teachers haven't seen an 8% raise in all this time. Could it be an election year?? Now you want to give us raises and retention bonuses?! Dems and Republicans are all the same, no support for teachers!
