When your class asks for a zoom show n tell, of course you say yes. I met everyone’s pets today and some items that would be too big for book bags! What a great way for students to show things that are near and dear to their hearts while we are in this difficult situation! 💙

I love reading conferences!! Virtual reading conferences are different but still beneficial. Screen sharing to make sure they can see the learning progressions and of course a post it note. #distancelearning #cohort2classrooom #potomackAIR

Was able to zoom with some of my students today. We did our class meeting virtually. A student, with the biggest smile on his face, said “I just can’t stop smiling!” I’m still smiling! I can’t wait to get back in the classroom! 💙💙 #potomackAIR #BCSconnectED

Today, @MissWilson5th and I were able to do our Potomack Literacy PD. We came together as a whole group to discuss the importance of readers notebooks. We then separated into groups. 3rd grade focused on poetry and RUOS distance learning ideas. #cohort2classroom #PotomackAIR

Oh my ❤️. I started a discussion on schoology for our read aloud and I got this post on our discussion page. Thankful for technology where students and I can still communicate! I wish we were at school too! #potomackAIR

I was having trouble with my read alouds since dojo only allows 8 minute videos. Thankful for a fantastic tech teacher @_Ashley_Torres for helping me learn MyVR spot in the matter of minutes! My kiddos will now get to see my full read alouds! #distancelearning #potomackAIR

The best part of today was definitely working with @MrsSteshoski’s class. I loved seeing them help each other and can’t wait for their finished product!

This year I really want to find joy in each day. I want to hold myself accountable to this by using Twitter to share positive, exciting, or interesting things that happen in school. Here we go...

We ended our Character Studies unit with a Because of Winn Dixie party! We recreated parts of the book by having similar food, decorating our classroom with dog pictures and making our mistake bottles for our mistake tree. On to poetry! #cohort2classroom #potomackAIR
