Let’s stop using the word “homework” & “class work”, and instead call it “practice”. Stop categorizing learning activities by the location where it’s supposed to take place, & instead name it for its purpose.

Lately I hear #teachers talk about kids not doing all their work. Don’t focus on how much work they do. Instead, focus on quality of that work. Does the kid get the concept? If so move on. I’ve seen some kids do lots of work & learn nothing from it. #thatonekid #edchat
