Half the UK can't cover a £500 emergency without borrowing. But the same half are about to spend £2,000+ on a week in Tenerife because they 'need a break.' Then they'll spend the next 18 months paying it back at 24.9% APR while complaining about the cost of living. Something has gone genuinely wrong with how we Brits think about money.

Unpopular opinion: Leasing a brand new car is the most financially illiterate thing normalised in the UK. You're paying £500/month for something that loses 40% of its value by the time you hand it back. Then you sign up for another one. A £5,000 used car does the exact same job. Gets you from A to B. "Influencer" RielleUK has been arrested after ploughing her car into three innocent people on Argyll Street in central London. This happened in the early hours this morning. A woman in her 30s is now in a critical condition in hospital. A man in his 50s - who was simply a bystander - suffered life-changing injuries. A third woman in her 30s was treated for minor injuries. She has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, GBH, dangerous driving and drink driving. This is the madness our streets have descended into.

Money is everything. Don’t let people psyop you into believing it’s only for the greedy to buy junk and flash. Money is extra years with your pet. Money is time with your kids instead of work. Money is a smile on your mother’s face. Money is literally life or death. You must focus and earn as much as possible. 10M is the new 1M. 100M bare minimum for a nice life.
