To all my Canadian friends, if what happens in the USA constantly scares and upsets you, I would highly suggest looking into the conservative party platform and noticing many similarities to the USA structure. If you want Canada to remain a safe place for all don’t vote Cons

I think if anything has become abundantly clear over the last 5 weeks or so it’s that if you, or anyone you care about, has any chronic medical conditions you should NOT be voting PC in the election.

@Enigmaticjones @imgrund How? We're all vaccinated, and have had covid. 90% of the population is vaccinated. We were NEVER going to get to 100%. There is inherent risk in everything we do every day. Stop blaming others & take some personal responsibility for your own risk factors.

If a business you frequent continues asking for proof-of-vaccination, what will your reaction be?

I guess, “We are done with COVID” means 40 deaths per day and hundreds of schools with 20%+ student absence is the new norm.

If @fordnation removes vaccine passes from restaurants, it will be THE death blow to the dining industry. No way will you catch me venturing in to another restaurant for quite some time.

Canadians have the right to protest, to disagree with their government, and to make their voices heard. We’ll always protect that right. But let’s be clear: They don’t have the right to blockade our economy, or our democracy, or our fellow citizens’ daily lives. It has to stop.

If you point to Denmark dropping all COVID restrictions, the responsible thing to do is also point out the main reason they’re doing it is because they have ample health care and hospital capacity. As usual, context matters.
