I am really good at math, always have been, but I cannot subtract across zeros. So, when my younger son told me he was struggling too, I showed him this method of finding the difference between one less because the answer is still the same! So much easier!! @pgesflyers

Distance learning looks different than anything we have ever experienced! When teaching math, teachers can use @padlet in their virtual Number Talks! Students can post their answers to the Padlet. This is a great way for teachers to see the misconceptions in student answers!
