Postponed due to the weather but Rang Deirdre (1st year) eventually got to go to our local St. Brigid’s Well today. We learned about #StBrigid and some of the rituals associated with the well ✝️ @Colaistebride @purcell_aisling @CeistTrust @jct_re @dublindiocese

Some of our 5th year students @Colaistebride were at @civictheatre today to attend a ‘Behind the Curtain’ workshop exploring their expectations of their Leaving Cert journey as part of College Awareness Week #CAW This workshop was enjoyed by all!

Our First Years visited Kildare on their 'Camino Bhríde' for the Jubilee Year. Lovely to see the #NanoNagle statue outside the parish church. All students received their special badge to remember the day. Grma @purcell_aisling @MusicDeptCB the RE teachers & Ms McConkey

Learning about the symbols of the Acorn and Oak Tree, the flame of fire/light, the St.Brigid's Cross, the prayer beds & circles, the worry rags on trees near the wells. A great day on 'Camino Bhríde' in Kildare.

An amazing day on 'Camino Bhríde' in Kildare, so many links with Clondalkin, from St.Brigid's Well to Round Tower. Our First years were so attentive to all our speakers and tour guides. So much to see relating to Saint Brigid, churches, wells, heritage centre & Solas Bhŕíde.
