To all the people who say, "I stand with Trump," and claim that he has the power to declassify any document of his choice to avoid charges under the Espionage Act, let me explain why it is irrelevant even if those documents were declassified. Even if Trump could make the defense that he declassified all of the documents he had at Mar-a-Lago, which to me seems almost impossible now that he’s on recording seemingly admitting that at least one document was not declassified, here is why it doesn’t matter: - Declassification does not equate to automatic disclosure. Classification status is just one reason for a government agency to withhold the disclosure of information. Just because something is declassified doesn’t mean it is no longer restricted for other reasons. i.e. US nuclear secrets, US military secrets, Foreign country’s military secrets. The US military can still limit what the public gets access to, as can other government agencies. - The Espionage Act concerns national defense information, not classified information. Nowhere in the act does it specify that the information must be classified in order for the law to have been violated. In fact, the Espionage Act was created in 1917. The modern classification system wasn’t created until 1951. So the Espionage Act was written before the classification system we have today was created. If the government deems documents to be “national defense information” that could harm the US or our allies, or if it could aid our enemies and adversaries, then it is information in which belongs to them, and them only. The Trump indictment accuses him of violating 18 U.S.C. §§ 793e, which reads: "Whoever having unauthorized possession of, access to, or control over any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, photographic negative, blueprint, plan, map, model, instrument, appliance, or note relating to the national defense, or information relating to the national defense which information the possessor has reason to believe could be used to the injury of the United States or to the advantage of any foreign nation, willfully communicates, delivers, transmits or causes to be communicated, delivered, or transmitted, or attempts to communicate, deliver, transmit or cause to be communicated, delivered, or transmitted the same to any person not entitled to receive it, or willfully retains the same and fails to deliver it to the officer or employee of the United States entitled to receive it;" There you have it. It seems to be a clear violation of this law.

My point is that there is so much outrage over transgender puberty blockers and hormones for teens under 18, but children have been getting married for centuries and no one in Congress is attempting to write laws against that. There are many more child marriages than children receiving gender affirmative care in America.

Shouldn't child marriage be illegal on a federal level since children are not capable of consent? There are 7 states that have no age minimum whatsoever for child marriage. There are literally thousands of children marrying and having sex with their spouses every year. Shouldn't there be outrage over this?

Then there's the anecdotal evidence from women/girls confronted by TIM's in changing rooms, toilets and other female only spaces too.

@jacobincambodia I'm not against Matt Walsh's documentary. If people want to watch it, that's their right. People are going to have their ideas of what they believe a woman is, but in my opinion if their belief isn't hurting someone else, why should people alienate them for their beliefs?

What is a Woman? Up until 5 years ago I would have admittedly said "a woman is someone with a vagina." But time, education and an openness to try and understand other people's perspectives has changed my views. If you were to ask me "What is a woman" today, I, like a lot of people would struggle to give an answer. That doesn't mean I don't have a belief. What it comes down to is that what a woman is to me might not be a woman to someone else. Just like if I were to ask someone "what is god?" A lot of people would have an exact definition, while others will have a differing view. Some would say God doesn't exist. Other would say that God is different for everyone. To me God is whatever someone wants to believe God is. My answer for what a woman is, would be the same thing. It's whatever you want it to mean to you. I know what I believe, but I wouldn't force those beliefs onto someone else, just like I would tell a Jewish person or Muslim person "Merry Christmas." And just like I wouldn't try and tell other people what God is, I also wouldn't try and tell other people what a woman is. Not because I don't have a solid belief in what I define as a woman, but because my belief might offend someone else.
