Responding to a student request for a Lego makerspace; connecting play at home to our virtual Brightspace classroom. Thanks to @cmonson14 for creating the virtual lego pieces and for sharing them so readily. @tdsbvs@LC3_TDSB@EarlyYearsTDSB#makerspace#lego
Which one doesn’t belong? I am compiling a Google Slide of all of the #WODB I create! Feel free to DM me your email or drop it below if you would like me to share them with you! I have been blown away but the great conversations that are happening @WilfridJuryPS@SpecialEd_TVDSB
Post consolidation! Growth in accurate representation. Some extended their thinking by creating their own monster ... total engagement! Selecting a task that will tap into what you are looking for requires teacher thinking and reflection. @BellviewBobcat

@mr_cottam Depends on which student you’re asking me about. I think it’s a combination, but ask me in a few days as I gain more information. I also think there is a difference.
@mr_cottam I noticed a lot of ‘tick counting’ when using a ruler, instead of recognizing units of length to determine length ( ex. Ss identifying starting point as one and counting on)
