@AdamKinzinger What about the soldiers that were forced to leave the military because they wouldn’t get vaxxed?
English

@WhiteHouse Enjoyed by whom? That's an exciting thing but not when we're 3 trillion dollars in debt and you're taking away programs like snapp to help those in need. A fine example of the current administration's priorities. When will his base see that they are not his priority

Take a look at this picture.
This is 41-year-old Donald Trump in Moscow in July 1987 after being invited by the USSR Ambassador.
What do you notice?
There is some speculation that this trip was the start of a KGB effort to recruit Trump to be a Kremlin asset.
Former KGB officials, including Yuri Shvets, have claimed that Trump's 1987 visit was part of a broader strategy by Soviet intelligence to develop relationships with influential Americans.
Just two months after his return to NY from Moscow, Trump paid almost $100,000 dollars for full-page ads urging the US to abandon its foreign aid to its allies and demanded they pay for their own security or fend for themselves.
Sound familiar?
In the 2000s, the Trump Organization sold numerous properties to anonymous shell companies, some linked to Russian and post-Soviet oligarchs.
In 2008, Trump sold his Palm Beach estate, Maison de L'Amitié, to Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev for $95 million, a number almost 2x its market value.
Follow the money.

There are a lot of people in this country would like to deny the existence of racism. But racism was built into the DNA of America. The founding fathers were slave owners and racist. It’s still alive and well today they just use different code to justify it in the name of DEI, woke, critical race theory. A new way of continue racism against African-Americans.

@AinsworthKeith @CalltoActivism The post says this is the first death in the US, not case, in so many years

English

@CalltoActivism In 2024 there were 16 outbreaks in the United States and 52 globally.
Which makes a single outbreak “not unusual.“
He dedicated the last 15 years to children’s health so to imply that he or anyone else wouldn’t care about the death of a child is outrageous.

BREAKING: Donald Trump's takeover of the Kennedy Center implodes in humiliating fashion as droves of talented celebrities abandon the legendary performing arts center in protest.
Trump is radioactive with the people he wants to impress most...
Actress Issa Rae announced on Instagram in a brief statement that she is cancelling her "An Evening With Issa Rae" event slated for next month. Tickets will be refunded.
"Unfortunately, due to what I believe to be an infringement on the values of an institution that has faithfully celebrated artists of all backgrounds through all mediums, I’ve decided to cancel my appearance at this venue," she wrote.
Trump made himself chairman of the center on Wednesday. Earlier this week he removed Biden appointees from the board and rammed in unqualified cronies including Second Lady Usha Vance and White House Chief of staff Susie Wiles.
Mega-successful television producer and writer Shonda Rhimes — the woman behind hit shows like Grey's Anatomy, Bridgerton, and Scandal among others — resigned as treasurer of the center's board yesterday.
She posted a quote from JFK on her Instagram: "If art is to nourish the roots of our culture, society must set the artist free to follow his vision wherever it takes him."
Legendary soprano Renée Fleming resigned as artistic advisor to the center and while she avoided naming Trump, she praised David M. Rubenstein — the center's former chairman who was ousted.
Singer and songwriter Ben Folds stepped down from his role as advisor to the National Symphony Orchestra, which the Kennedy Center oversees.
"Given developments at the Kennedy Center, effective today I am resigning as artistic adviser to the N.S.O. Mostly, and above all, I will miss the musicians of our nation’s symphony orchestra — just the best!" Folds wrote on Instagram.
Adam Weiner of the band Low Cut Connie has also canceled an appearance at the center next month.
"Upon learning that this institution that has run nonpartisan for 54 years is now chaired by President Trump himself and his regime, I decided I will not perform there," he wrote on social media, adding that friends and fans were going to be "directly negatively affected by this administration’s policies and messaging."
This is the kind of rejection that infuriates Donald Trump more than anything. He has long wanted to be accepted by America's cultural elites. Instead, they see him for the cruel, fascist, incompetent failure he truly is.
Please retweet and ❤️ to thank these celebrities for standing tall against MAGA — and consider joining the growing exodus to Tribel, a new pro-democracy social network that is exploding in popularity because Twitter and Facebook are trying to stop its growth — which is only making Tribel grow even faster. Gloria Richardson doesn't get enough credit for how revolutionary she was! Ms. Gloria, like many other activists of the day, disagreed fully with Dr. King and any non-violence movements.
She believed that if we have to ask Whites for our dignity, that means we are not free. And she refused to accept that we were relegated to second class citizenship.
"A first-class citizen does not plead to the white power structure to give him something that the whites have no power to give or take away. Human rights are human rights, not white rights".
Rest in Power Queen ✊🏾

@Matthewtravis08 Meet somewhere public for Christmas dinner. Your home your rules.
English

So our extended family is divided.
My mother in law refuses to spend Christmas with us unless we invite her 5 sons.
Her sons don’t have family gatherings at their homes for a variety of bullshit reasons.
Her sons are alcoholics who don’t respect our home,
Usually laid off during winter months because they work seasonal jobs,
Constantly criticize our lifestyle because we have money,
They’re also hardcore MAGA supporters who think they exercise their 2nd Amendment rights by carrying side arms everywhere, including our home.
For these reasons they are not welcome in our home.
For these reasons, my mother in law who’s been invited but refuses to attend Christmas at our home,
Will be spending her Christmas alone.
Just like she spent Thanksgiving alone.

When I cast my vote for President Biden, I wasn't expecting much. I just wanted trump out of office.
I knew he was old.
I knew he had a stutter.
I knew he had a rep for "gaffes."
I didn't care. Just wanted trump gone.
Four years later, things are different.
I wasn't expecting that President Biden would be the most legislatively successful President in my lifetime.
I wasn't expecting him to help expand NATO.
I wasn't expecting him to lower insulin & inhalers.
I wasn't expecting him to create & recover 15m jobs.
I wasn't expecting him to bring manufacturing back.
I wasn't expecting him to forgive student debt.
But he did ALL those things, and more.
He surpassed my expectations by a lot.
And he has more planned for 2025-2028.
He's not a master orator,
He doesn't move so smoothly
But neither did FDR from his wheelchair.
Meanwhile, trump is STILL a threat.
He wants to be a dictator.
He wants to stay out of prison.
He wants revenge on his enemies.
He wants to take away from the poor and middle class and give to the ultra wealthy.
His Project 2025 will enable a national abortion ban to criminalize women seeking safe and legal abortions.
His Project 2025 will take away the rights of our LGBTQ family and friends.
His Project 2025 will transform the government into a loyalty pledge, not to America but to him ALONE.
We might never have another free election.
THAT is what is at stake in this election.
We can continue to progress with Biden policies, or we can let trump destroy democracy as we know it.
If you're looking for someone who's young and athletic, go watch a fucking movie.
I'll take the old guy who needs a nap while saving democracy over the old guy trying to overthrow democracy who needs a legal team.
