Our 3rd grade class unpacked our schools vision and created their cover pages in which they will use for their learning portfolio this year.

The BEST 3rd grade students explored liquid volumes by estimating and comparing 2 containers with a unit container to determine which holds a greater liquid volume.

The BEST 3rd grade Ss created rectangles with given areas. They used what they know about area and structure of rectangles to decide on side lengths and proved their rectangle matched the given area.

Our class wrapped up our social studies unit by creating a business plan for a region in Maryland. They then pitched their idea to “investors”. They all did so well and should be proud of their hard work!

The BEST 3rd grade Ss are representing multiplication expressions with arrays. We used our bodies and connecting cubes to show our arrays!!
