I am so sad that the Olympics are over. I don’t know if it’s because I went to some events, or whether it’s that I had the luxury of being able to watch most of the events (summer hols 😅), or the insane performances of @TeamIreland but #Paris2024 will live forever in my heart ❤️

Since the start of Paris 2024, residents from this retirement home next to the Olympic Village keep a set routine. They sit outside and invite the athletes to come in, say hi and take a photo 📸 👋 🏃

@dudara Something that should be publicised more!! The card is fantastic in terms of fitting into your wallet, but it isn't functional in the automatic gates so it sucks.

@dudara It took me about 15 mins to get thru in Marseille last week. I have an Irish passport but they only had "all passport" lanes open, and were encouraging people thru the self service scanners with their EU passport. The issue? Passport cards don't work in the automatic system!

The length of the non-EU passport queue in Faro is unreal. The UK really scored an own-goal there. Our driver said it can over two hours sometimes to get through
