Throwback to when I lived on campus and read all about the Concept Development Model! I’m finishing up my unit and have loved integrating this model into my lessons to help students learn the concepts👏🏼🎉

Today we finished up our book talks about Making Thinking Visible by @RonRitchhart. This book is amazing and holds so many routines to help students think hard and think well! Thank you @SamfordEd for having us read it!

Last Friday, we had the amazing opportunity to learn about all the resources @AMSTI4all has for Alabama teachers! I am PUMPED to use a kit in my classroom to make the content come to life.

This is such a sweet season to be a teacher in training. Getting to observe teachers who are going above and beyond in lessons, student/ family outreach, and consistent educational opportunities has been so encouraging. So many small things to be thankful for. #teachersareheroes

Newest addition to the devotional is a @Spotify playlist! Music is so powerful and I couldn’t resist incorporating some of my favorite worship songs into the devo. #STEAM @teacherstone @3xjoy

Currently writing a devotional on anxiety and uncertainty for @DrLizi class. It may be for 9-11 year olds, but I sure needed to hear the content too! Plus using all the resources I can find to make it the best for the kiddos!

It’s so interesting to see how teachers and professors have been so flexible with the unexpected changes in instruction platforms amidst the Corona virus craziness! So encouraged to watch @SamfordEd handle it all with such patience. #RealWorldProblemSolving

I remember using my teacher’s when I was in elementary school! I should’ve known then I was going to be a teacher.

We had a blast making our own lava lamps in our class with @3xjoy and @teacherstone! I loved watching my fellow classmates show off their science skills.

To add to our fun contractions lesson, the students completed a formative assessment by using a Kahoot! They had a blast.

I had an amazing last day @MBElementary last Thursday. I was able to teach them all about contractions and even got to use the new Promethean board. I love building my technology knowledge to better my teaching.
