Put solar panels on car parks rather than plastering them on thousands of acres of prime farmland. It’s a hell of a lot more logical.

YouTube demonetized my channel for "Inauthentic content" a few days ago. I want to tell you my full story because I think people need to hear it. I run a history and education channel on YouTube. Every single video starts with hours of academic research. I pull from real scholarly sources, primary historical records, and published academic works. I write every script completely from scratch. I physically film everything myself. I appear on camera in every single video. I manually edit every cut. I hand design every thumbnail. This is not automated content. This is not mass produced. This is me, showing up, doing the work, every single time. YouTube demonetized my channel for "Inauthentic content" and removed $5,000 from me. Money I needed. Gone overnight with no warning and no real explanation. I made an appeal video walking through my entire creation process step by step. It was never watched. An AI rejected it before a single human ever saw it. The response I received was a copy paste message that thousands of other creators got word for word. I have reached out. I have followed the process. I have done everything they asked. And I keep getting the same automated wall. All I am asking for is one real person at YouTube to actually look at my channel. @TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators @YouTube Please do the right thing. If you believe creators deserve to be treated fairly, please repost this. youtu.be/PIW7Qu9Qsj8

Give A Shit About Nature
Give A Shit About Nature@giveashitnature·
The city of Andernach, Germany planted 101 varieties of tomatoes in the town center and told everyone to take whatever they wanted. It was such a hit they did beans the next year, then added onions, fruit trees, lettuce, zucchini, berries, and herbs. All free to the public and maintained by the city. Andernach is now known as the "edible city." Philadelphia has been doing a version of this since 2007. The Philadelphia Orchard Project has helped establish 67 sites across the city with thousands of food-bearing trees. Baltimore is planting fruit trees on sidewalks. Seattle, Boston, San Francisco, and Asheville all have public urban orchards. A mature apple tree produces 400-500 pounds of fruit per year. A mature pear tree can produce for 75 years. We've decided our cities should have trees. We just haven't decided those trees should feed people. Would you support urban fruit trees and vegetables in your city?

The simplest rule to blow up your income, followers, etc.. EVEN when you have no idea what your doing is : "Always Produce" Paul Graham taught me this, and it changed my life. overthinking, feeling sorry for yourself, or anything that is not producing will always get you nothing. If you don't know what to produce ( this is normal ) then just produce anything. the act of producing will naturally guide you to what you should be producing. The MORE you produce, the better you get at producing and learning what you should produce. This is painful because you feel like you are wasting time, and just creating non-sense until one day you produce something that thousands of people love and it changes your life.

Learned about something called a "glimmer" recently. It's the opposite of a trigger. A tiny moment that makes you feel good. Coffee hitting right. Sun on your face. Your dog losing its mind when you walk in the door. Most of us are trained to scan for threats all day. Flip that. Start scanning for glimmers. Same exact life starts feeling completely different.

The Woolshire

Made it to 25k followers so thought it would be a good time to re-introduce ourselves. We started The Woolshire over 3 years ago when we woke up to the chemicals that are in our everyday bedding. We wanted a clean mattress for our newborn and didn’t want him subject to flame retardants, microplastic shedding, and the dozens of carcinogenic chemicals used in the bedding industry. The more we learned about third world manufacturing, the less we trusted anything on the market. “Organic” fraud and greenwashing everywhere. Our search led us to a wool mill in Montana where some true American patriots in their 80s had been making wool bedding for 25 years. These sheep ranchers turned wool manufacturers taught us how to make wool pillows. We put the idea on Twitter where we were encouraged and thus The Woolshire was born. And yes, we did made our son an organic wool mattress. Two years later the Montana couple retired and so we bought their wool mill and moved it to Sandpoint Idaho where we built a 6600 square foot shop for making pillows and processing our own wool. We are making the most pure pillows on the market because we control our quality like no other. Pure virgin wool from local ranches encased in true American grown organic cotton. Everything made by hand by us. Nothing else comes close. I’m here to share our wins and losses on this journey of growing to be an American manufacturer, to share our products with you, to gain friendships, to encourage, to call out fraud, and to share with you our dreams, as crazy as they seem. You sleep for a third of your life - you may as well breathe in the most pure pillow possible. Thanks you friends, sincerely. This is the beginning.

Antibodies do provide benefits like immunity against reinfection for those ostriches. However, CFIA's policy for H5N1 in poultry mandates culling to prevent spread, regardless of species novelty. The farm's research claims lacked detailed protocols or data for approval as an alternative, per official reports and tribunal decisions.

BREAKING: Universal Ostrich Farms Neighbours File Civil Claim Against CFIA and RCMP ___ FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE EDGEWOOD, British Columbia - Feb 17, 2026 Universal Ostrich Farm Neighbours File Civil Claim Against CFIA and RCMP The owners of a privately owned 28-acre residential property located next door to Universal Ostrich Farms have filed a civil claim in the Supreme Court of British Columbia against the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), His Majesty the King in Right of Canada, and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). The property is separately owned and was not part of the farm operation. The plaintiffs state they had no prior communication with CFIA before their land was seized and occupied on September 22, 2025. According to the claim, the residential property was described in a CFIA warrant as “Universal Ostrich Farms Secondary Quarantine Property.” The warrant named the owners of Universal Ostrich Farms, not the owners of the residential property. RCMP and CFIA remained on the property for 52 days, until November 13, 2025. During that time, the plaintiffs allege: •Continuous police presence and controlled access to their own home •Daily drone surveillance over the residence and yard •Creation of multiple new access points and extensive property damage •Spreading of material from the slaughter site onto their land •Nearly 1,000 rounds fired during the November 6 cull directly beside the residence, without warning The claim further alleges trespass, unlawful interference with property, harassment, assault and battery, and psychological harm. The plaintiffs are seeking injunctive relief, remediation of the land, and damages as determined by the Court. “We were forced to go through an armed checkpoint just to enter and exit our own property, showing ID, waiting for permission, and dealing with shifting levels of aggression at our own gate.” said Aly Turnbull, plaintiff and daughter of the property owners. “We lived beside weeks of visible animal suffering that ended in sudden gunfire without warning. Our sense of safety and privacy were completely shattered, and we are still distraught that our land was used to facilitate something so horrific.”
