The left must urgently unite and organise mass, visible resistance to the growing right-wing tide in South Africa and globally before it is too late. What we are witnessing is the consolidation of a small but increasingly emboldened minority advancing extremist positions. Though their numbers may still be in the hundreds, their politics are dangerous. These groups are taking the law into their own hands, acting as self-appointed police and immigration authorities, and normalising mob and streets justice. They seek to divert attention from a deepening systemic crisis: a polycrisis driven by mass unemployment, poverty, inequality, housing shortages, and collapsing public services by scapegoating migrants. In doing so, they protect the very system responsible for the suffering of the working class and the poor. Notably, these formations never mobilise against the real sources of the crisis: •structural unemployment and deindustrialisation, •entrenched inequality and poverty, •the housing emergency, •the breakdown of education and healthcare, or •global imperialism and ongoing genocidal violence. Instead, they align themselves with reactionary forces internationally openly supporting figures like Donald Trump, defending Zionist Israel, and even backing the Moroccan occupation of Western Sahara. This is not accidental. It reflects a coherent right-wing project that thrives on division, fear, and misinformation. The response must be equally deliberate: building a broad, militant, working-class front that rejects xenophobia, confronts inequality, and fights for a just and humane society rooted in solidarity - not scapegoating.

@Zwelinzima1 Both illegal and legally. I think the government must pause the legal immigration and sort out the situation than after we can continue with legal immigration under a very strict condition. The country is buckling under pressure the resources aren't enough to accommodate us all.
