Many thanks to @FurrowedMiddle who helped us trace the family of Monica Stirling. We are now publishing her astonishing forgotten novel 'Sigh For A Strange Land.' A funny, sad, timely novel about refugees - and a real labour of love for us.

Celebrate Joseph's Broadway 40th! I was in a production at the Haymarket Theatre in Leicester around '85. Floyd Bevan as Joseph and Alison Limerick as the Narrator. Sparked a lifelong love of theatre and led to the creation of Much Ado Workshops @ConcordShows #DreamcoatChallenge

Armistice Day: 11am on Tuesday 11th November 1919, vast crowds in London observe the very first 2 minute silence for those killed in the Great War. The men have removed their hats out of respect for the fallen. (I originally colourised this photo for the Evening Standard in 2019)
