@GeoffreyHuntley Saw an insta post of a bloke working out in the Pilbara who said the mining companies have plenty of reserves - his point being it was ridiculous that gov couldn't have done the same (of course, "reserves" for the entire country vs private mining operation are different)

interesting having discussions in 🇰🇷 re: fuel. of the folks i’ve spoken to they think it’s absurd that 🇦🇺 doesn’t have national reserves and only has 14 days left of supply meanwhile 🇰🇷 is angry at 🇰🇷 government for only having six months reserves (they want more reserves!)

@nathan_covey I wonder if this is an immune response to the rapid technological advancement thrust upon humans? We've been pretty basic creatures (biologically speaking) for a lot longer than we've been "technologically advanced" - maybe this is all some kind of reversion to the mean.

@ptr_to_joel Distribution is the moat. Even then, Anthropic and OpenAI are sucking up all the data from wrapper apps using their APIs and if there is enough of a signal they'll just release their version of whatever you're building and crush you, again, with their distribution advantage.

@theo Interesting to see how developers compare these tools. I've used both extensively and what sticks out to me is just their 'personality' more than the coding ability ( I'm dealing with web apps so less complexity). In a blind chat A/B test most folks could pick which is which.
