10 years in, I don’t understand why people still freak out over President Trump’s social media posts.
It’s not that deep. The self-righteous outcry is actually nauseating.
Everyone is welcome to their opinion, but it feels more consequential to criticize someone’s actions, rather than the memes that they post. Personally, I couldn’t care less.
The faux outrage actually gives me heartburn.

REMINDER: Pastors are literally the only people in America who can avoid these issues, bc they get to live in a tithe-dollar-created bubble.
Every one of your people faces these issues everyday at work, with their families, in their schools… and many of them risk their jobs over them.

Our story is the same. My mom’s neighborhood (75074) went full H1B. Ours (75098) went full Muslim. Our favorite Saturday morning breakfast spot, the Country Club Cafe, is now a halal restaurant. Our favorite Mexican food place, Cristina’s, closed after 15 years because some Indian dude bought their strip center and doubled their rent. The real shocker: Christmas 2025 we went to Calloway’s to buy our tree. Their selection was thin. Weird, because it was early December. I asked the guy. His answer put me in a funk I still haven’t shaken: “The demographics of the area have changed. Not very many people around here celebrate Christmas anymore.” NOT VERY MANY PEOPLE HERE CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS?!?! WTF IS HAPPENING?!?! We just paid our last (outrageous) Collin County taxes.
