@RosieP4 @RealBlackIrish @SurLiott9 Rosie, take a look at the account you're speaking with and the @CommunityPlann1 are retweeting... Do you want these allies in your corner?
English

@RealBlackIrish @SurLiott9 Yes, there is that, for sure. But still worth fighting to try to make them listen.

@blackboughpoems Thank you - an honour to be included in such a fantastic publication!

@Memashma @TopTweetTuesday @MatthewMCSmith Thanks Marion. It's amazing how much they eat - by the time they leave they've shrunk all their organs except their heart and lungs to make more room for fat. Bit like me at Christmas.

@Mulls05 @TopTweetTuesday @MatthewMCSmith Nice poem full of energy here. Love the 4th line with the ‘bristle-worm binge’.
English

Bird week @TopTweetTuesday with @MatthewMCSmith. Wanted to tell the story of the longest non-stop flight of a small shorebird, the Bar-Tailed Godwit, that flies up to 13500km without stopping. I used a banned word but in Maori so it doesn't count...

English

@TopTweetTuesday @RoyallMargaret @Memashma Noted! Thanks for the boost. I thought perhaps Elon was threatened by the power of art, but your explanation makes more sense...
English

Quite a few poets not that visible as they sometimes put the @TopTweetTuesday handle at the start of their message (Twitter sees it as a reply and buries it)
@Mulls05 @RoyallMargaret @Memashma and others sometimes affected by this - less visible!

@Mulls05 @TopTweetTuesday @ITattum Zooming in on the microcosm of activity: excellent use of space with just a few lines 👏
English

@Mulls05 @TopTweetTuesday @daiwoolridge Love this poem! '...chew energy packets' is a wonderful, surprising, and spot-on use of language. This poem is so full or care, love, and yearning. Gorgeous ❤️

@MatthewMCSmith @TopTweetTuesday Thanks Matthew. The Māori translation is "Who has seen the nest of the Kuaka?"
English

@Mulls05 @TopTweetTuesday Banger of a final line. This is poetic indeed with progression through the poem demonstrating finesse. 💎
English

@eliot_north @TopTweetTuesday Thanks Eleanor that's kind of you to revisit it!
English

@Mulls05 @TopTweetTuesday I missed this before, how lovey to find this Nonet on PLAY this morning, the humour of the title, freewheeling start concentrated down to scabby knees … there is a beautiful kind of ache to this poem Mullet! Thank you for posting 👏🙌🙏
English

This week's @TopTweetTuesday with @eliot_north is on the theme of Play - so here's a nonet about rediscovering joy through pain

English

Steaming in (or should that be fluttering?) on the late side for @TopTweetTuesday again this week, sorry @MatthewMCSmith. Here's my abstract bird poem eschewing banned words (I hope!). Looking forward to a spot of poetic birdwatching shortly!

English

@Mulls05 @TopTweetTuesday @MatthewMCSmith Love the bristle worm binge and the celebration of such an amazing flyer.
I am sure Matt will have no trouble with us all getting round his word bans by using other languages 😊
English

With so many banned words for @TopTweetTuesday, it was futile to write about real #birds, so here's my metaphorical piece about getting carried away and expecting too much...
Thanks to @MatthewMCSmith for hosting yet again!

For today’s bird challenge. One that has always evaded me on our summers in Pembrokeshire.

Our new drones can deploy to calls in London instantly. Officers will have a live-time view of a situation before they arrive to help make precise and better-informed decisions to locate suspects and keep communities safe. Faster awareness, smarter responses, safer communities.
