OpenAI is saying that we are entering the Intelligence Age, and it will reshape the economy much faster than most systems are prepared for. "Now, we’re beginning a transition toward superintelligence: AI systems capable of outperforming the smartest humans even when they are assisted by AI." Right now, the entire system is built around human labor. People work, earn wages, and pay taxes. However, as AI starts doing more of the work, this model begins to break down while productivity continues to grow rapidly. This creates a strange situation where the economy expands quickly, but traditional jobs do not grow at the same pace. OpenAI’s point is not to slow this process down. Instead, they argue that we need to redesign the system around it. This could mean shifting taxation away from wages toward capital and AI driven output. It could also involve giving people shared ownership in the AI economy, building automatic safety systems that respond to disruption, and reducing working hours while maintaining living standards. They also emphasize that access to AI should be widespread, similar to infrastructure like electricity or the internet, because access to intelligence will become a key source of opportunity. This transformation is coming quickly, and the potential benefits will be enormous.

An "upgrade" for Unitree's robot appears to have significantly enhanced its capabilities, reportedly enabling fully autonomous movements. It not only looks elegant but could also create the first real-world use cases in the home. Impressive!
Space and Technology@spaceandtech_

A robotics startup in Shenzhen called Mind On has upgraded the Unitree G1 humanoid with an advanced robot brain. With this upgrade, the robot can perform everyday tasks on its own without human control. It was shown watering plants, opening curtains, cleaning, and moving items independently.

wow For the first time in history, AI has solved a FrontierMath open problem, a real, unsolved research challenge that defeated mathematicians for years. Let that sink in. This is a genuine frontier of human knowledge, and AI just pushed it forward. This is what the beginning of a new era looks like. 1000x bigger wave is coming.

There is now a RenoDX HDR mod for Crimson Desert on PC 👍 I recommend all PC gamers to use it (PS5 gamers should read my quick setup guide). HDR now looks so beautiful and natural 👍👍👍 You can get it from this link. Follow the install instructions in the link. github.com/clshortfuse/re… As I understand it, it especially improves the HDR tone mapping. I’m no modder or developer, so I will not pretend to know or understand all it fixes. I will below link to a post that explains the fundamental issues the mod fixes. The great thing about RenoDX is also that it gives us the ability to make fine adjustments to HDR including a better setting, then the games exposure setting, to setup game brightness. It also gives us the ability to turn off chromatic aberration. Its a lens distortion effect that blurs textures, so turn it off. The most important settings to adjust is peak brightness and game brightness. Peak brightness: Peak brightness is to be set to what your TV/monitor can do on a 10% window. Game brightness (paper white): Game brightness I recommend to set to 203 nits for a 1000 nits display. If you have a TV or monitor less capable then that, then set to 180-203 nits. Set to what looks most natural to you. For TVs that can output significantly more than 1000 nits, I recommend increasing game brightness. Theoretically a 1500 nits TV has to set to 267 nits and a 2000 nits to 343 nits, according to the HLG guidelines. But only use those guidelines as a starting point. Set to what looks most natural to you. I typically found myself adjusting lower when using RenoDX. How low depends on the game. If you are gaming in a bright room then you might even want to increase it further. I so far have settled for 300 nits. Gamers using a 1500 nits TV might settle for 250-267 nits, I expect.

I am seriously so annoyed by all those AI haters. DLSS5 looks phenomenal; people hate on it cause „it’s AI“. That’s the sole reason.

Crazy technology. AI will revolutionize everything.
Mark Kretschmann@mark_k

Nvidia VP @ctnzr posted the very first screenshot from DLSS 5! "Fully generative neural rendering, in real-time, in real games. Mind-blowing realism. A whole new generation of real-time graphics." Apparently Nvidia has been working on this for a decade. Coming soon for PC.

Jensen Huang just called the exact top of the pharmaceutical industry. Not a pivot. Not a disruption. An extinction event. Huang: “Where do I think the next amazing revolution is going to come? And this is going to be flat out one of the biggest ones ever. There’s no question that digital biology is going to be it.” The medical establishment has spent centuries playing a chaotic game of trial and error. We’re about to mathematically engineer the human operating system. Huang: “For the very first time in human history, biology has the opportunity to be engineering, not science. When something becomes engineering, not science, it becomes less sporadic and exponentially improving.” Biology is no longer the dark art of random discovery. It’s a predictable, compounding execution loop. Translate the chaotic variables of chemistry into the laws of computer science and you stop waiting for accidental breakthroughs. You simply compute the cure. That line should terrify every pharmaceutical executive alive. Huang: “It can compound on the benefits of the previous years. And every researcher’s contributions compound on each other.” For decades, drug discovery has been an isolated, artisanal process. One lab. One team. One molecule. Years of blind iteration. The algorithm just shattered that entire bottleneck. Every failed protein fold, every successful synthetic molecule instantly trains the foundational model. Makes the next iteration mathematically smarter. Huang: “We’re going to have incredible tools that bring the world of biology, which is very chaotic and constantly changing and diverse and complex, into the world of computer science. And that is going to be profound.” Incumbent pharma looks at the human body and sees an unmanageable wall of variables. Engineers look at that exact same body and see raw data waiting to be compiled. No longer guessing how a molecule will react in the physical world. Running millions of zero-cost simulated iterations before a single test tube is ever touched. Rip the chaotic friction out of the physical lab and drop it directly into a massive GPU cluster? The timeline to map, edit, and optimize the biological machine doesn’t shrink. It collapses.

Elon Musk just said money will be IRRELEVANT soon. He sat down at the Abundance Summit yesterday and explained how the entire concept of currency disappears. Here's why and his exact timeline: Elon says the global economy will 10x in the next 10 years. We'll have a base on the moon. People on Mars. Mass drivers launching cargo off the lunar surface. Sounds insane until you hear his math. AI and robots are about to increase economic output by so many orders of magnitude that we literally cannot comprehend it. His exact framework: Take ALL of Earth's current electricity usage. Now multiply it by a million. That's still only a millionth of the sun's total energy output. The scale of what's coming makes our current economy look like a lemonade stand. But here's where it gets really crazy: Elon says at roughly 1,000x the current economy, something breaks. Not the markets or the system... Human desire itself. At 1,000x, AI and robots have already produced everything any human could ever want. Every product. Every service. Every experience. You literally cannot think of something to ask for that hasn't already been made. AI runs out of things to do for us. So what does it do next? It starts building for ITSELF. AI producing for AI. Robots manufacturing for robots. Intelligence expanding for the sake of intelligence. Humans don't get destroyed in this scenario. We just stop being the point. We become passengers in a civilization we built but no longer drive. And that's WHEN money dies. Elon said: "AI will really not use human currency. It will just care about power and mass, wattage and tonnage." Not dollars. Not Bitcoin. Not gold. Raw energy and raw materials. That's the new economy. And humans aren't the customers. The irony is almost poetic. Elon is saying this while becoming the world's first trillionaire. His net worth is a number so large it's meaningless to most people. And he's telling you that number is about to be meaningless to EVERYONE. He puts the probability of this future at 80% or HIGHER. The 20% downside? He won't say exactly. Just that "not all outcomes are great" and we need to be careful. Which is Elon-speak for: if this goes wrong, it goes VERY wrong. But he's betting on the 80%. He says we'll have universal high income. Not universal basic income. HIGH income. Just issued directly to people because the output of goods and services will so far exceed the money supply that everything deflates to near zero. Everything gets cheaper. Then free. Then abundant beyond comprehension. And then money just... stops mattering. Most people hear this and think it's utopia. But think about what he's actually saying: Your career. Your savings. Your retirement plan. Your investment portfolio. The entire system you've built your life around. All of it becomes irrelevant in a world where AI saturates every human need and then keeps going. The question isn't whether you believe him... The question is what you're doing RIGHT NOW if there's even a 30% chance he's right. Because the transition period between here and there? That's where fortunes are made and destroyed. And we're already in it.
