Stop Buying Food for Female Corp Members all the time — NYSC Camp Official Advises Male Corp Members A female National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) official has shared advice for male corps members on how to approach romantic interests within the camp. She urged men to be direct in expressing their feelings rather than trying to impress by constantly buying food for female members. She said, “If you like a female corp member, stop buying food all the time, open your mouth and talk. Ask her, ‘Hello girl, do you like me cause I like you.’ Let her tell you YES or NO.” She stressed that honesty is key to avoiding unnecessary confusion or emotional stress. The official also warned against waiting indefinitely for indecisive responses. “If she tells you, ‘I will think about it today, tomorrow,’ move on and leave her alone,” she advised.

1. Do not date your coursemate. This is a warning, not a piece of advice. 2. Learn a skill or start a small business while you are still in school. Life is not about “done and dusted.” It is ridiculously hard after university. 3. Do everything within your control to graduate with at least a second class, upper division. What is worth doing is worth doing well. It is better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. 4. Make sure you date while in school. University is your easiest, and perhaps only, chance to experience what genuine, non-transactional love feels like. Date your fellow students. 5. As a guy in school, you will understand hypergamy better in university. The guys who drive onto campus to pick up your coursemates are mostly not students. It is simply their time or prime. The game is the game. 6. If you are not a serious student, make friends with very serious ones. Show them appreciation occasionally. They have something you don’t have. Lock in with them. 7. A week before exams, pay for and attend the popular night tutorials organized by the top students in your department. A large portion of your exam questions will be covered in those tutorials. 8. Prepare for your exams very well. However, do not let shame cause you to fail or carry over a course in the exam hall. What your mates are doing, follow them do. 9. Attend parties, FYB week, and other social events while in school. You will most likely regret not participating after graduation. Just find a balance. 10. You will meet some of the most intentional friends in university who will change the trajectory of your life after school. Be very intentional about your friendships.

This woman just drove into a culvert and wanted to panic but I rushed there and told her to relax and off the car first, she didn't argue. She offed the car and came out all shaky. Women? 🤦🏾‍♂️ Well, she's a feminine woman who listens that's why I offered my help. To cut the long story short, we stopped about 5-7 men who were passing by and applied some toxic concepts and finally raised the car out of the culvert. All this happened in less than 15 minutes. If you remove men from society, it'll crumble in 5 minutes, all of it.

2023, I missed my convocation. I missed my induction. I don’t have a single group picture with my lecturers or the people I graduated with. I couldn’t go for NYSC I didn't celebrate anything I couldn't afford it. I’ve never really “done life” the way people assume. I didn’t go on my first date until this year never been to the beach, never been to the cinema, never really had fun. Everyone looks at me when I say these things. Before that, a lady once offered to take me out because I told her I had never experienced it. She didn’t mind paying I even said I don't have money to come down to the island, she said she will order an uber. I felt uncomfortable, worried, even scared. I chickened out and said no I felt like a useless man, I couldn't afford shit. Not because I didn’t want to go, but because something about it just reminded me of where I was financially. Then this February, I finally went on my first date. I paid for everything. Spent money I normally wouldn’t. So when people say “men should stop faking maturity and celebrate themselves,” it sounds nice, but it’s not the full picture. A lot of guys are not avoiding joy. We just don’t have the leverage for it. Most men in Nigeria are broke. That’s the reality. Not lazy, not unwilling, just financially constrained. We miss moments, not because we don’t care, but because we can’t afford to show up for them. This might be the 1st year I’ll actually celebrate my birthday the way I want, and I’m doing it properly. I’ll go out, hit the beach, enjoy myself this time. Not because I suddenly became a different person, but because I finally can. I also celebrated Valentine's Day for the first time. Documenting everything is fun when you have money to pay for it. A lot of us want to celebrate with friends and family. We want those memories. We want to show up fully. But poverty quietly takes those moments away and replaces them with survival. That’s why I’ve always tried to position myself to help people break out of it. Because poverty is deeper than money. It steals experiences, confidence, and even the ability to enjoy life. God bless the women, that came into my life 😭😭 I can finally say afford to do things.
Oyinda!💙@Oyindamola41269

Boys, this fake maturity on birthdays has to stop . Celebrate yourself you’re not a cockroach. Post yourself, let us wish you abeg.

@iJay_Don @hackSultan Your tribalism is peeking out. Did you consider that perhaps it was obvious who the better candidate was, but North and West still had tribalistic mumus like you who still voted for their own person even if he wasn't up to the task?

@hackSultan It’s not just scripts in a group chat. You’re trying to set someone up for supporting a president because she felt the person is from her tribe, yet you said nothing about the last election where nearly 98% voted for a candidate from that region. No be tribalism that?

Nigeria is facing a diplomatic crisis. After President Tinubu recalled all 83 ambassadors in 2023, the country’s 109 foreign missions were left without leaders for over two years. Now that replacements are finally being named, the world is pushing back.
