A dozen registered sex offenders (RSOs) are missing in the Devon and Cornwall region - with four deemed to be high risk and eight thought to have fled abroad. In data supplied after a Freedom of Information request, Devon and Cornwall Police said that as of May 21, there were 12 RSOs missing from the area. So this info has only come from a freedom of info request. Why dont police actually release this information so that the public are aware?🤬 Four are classed as high risk and six as medium risk. Eight are believed to be abroad with four believed to still be in the force area.

South African Teenager Who Built Bombs in His Bedroom & Threatened To Slaughter College Students Is Jailed. A South African teenager who stockpiled homemade explosives in his bedroom, threatened to blow up his college classmates and idolised serial killers including the Sandy Hook shooter, has been jailed for just under four years. Jagger Strang, 18, who moved to the UK with his parents three and a half years ago, admitted a series of disturbing offences that left students and staff at Stafford College in fear for their safety. The court heard how Strang, described back home in South Africa as a normal child, spiralled into a disturbing obsession with extreme violence shortly after settling in the UK. He acquired gunpowder and thermite, filmed himself torturing cats, and wrote a chilling manifesto vowing to do "something big, something violent". Prosecutors at Birmingham Crown Court revealed Strang researched notorious mass killers, shared images of Anders Breivik, and even looked up the Southport massacre. He bragged to fellow students about setting off a pressure cooker bomb in class and boasted he had numerous weapons. When police raided his home in Stafford last September following tip-offs from college staff, they discovered chemicals, homemade explosives capable of causing harm, a blowpipe, and a digital trail of depravity. Despite the terrorism-related charges and the clear danger to the public, Strang was sentenced to just three years and 11 months in a young offender institution, with a further 12 months on licence. A statement read in court painted a picture of a boy who changed for the worse after leaving South Africa. Taxpayers will now foot the bill for his prison place, his legal proceedings, and the inevitable appeals and monitoring. As a foreign national convicted of serious offences involving explosives and threats to kill, Strang should face automatic deportation back to South Africa at the earliest opportunity. Strang will likely serve around half of his 3 years and 11 month sentence before automatic release on licence.
