Is he actually insane? Chelsea lost points against Leeds and Burnley at home. We couldn't beat Arsenal in 3 games, PSG in 2 games (lost with the biggest margin in Chelsea's Champions League history), and Newcastle (first loss in 18 years). He made even Chelsea fans anxious against Wrexham. Chelsea conceded the first goal within 20 minutes in the last 5 games under his watch. He started Jorgensen in Paris, which was the biggest game for Chelsea this season so far, even though Jorgensen had played only a limited number of games this season. We were lucky to win against West Ham. He rode his luck at the beginning of his tenure. Once the honeymoon period was over, his managerial incapabilities were totally exposed.

"I don't think he's doing a bad job at all" 🗣️ Ashley Williams supports Liam Rosenior's tenure at Chelsea so far 🔵
English

@Blue_Footy Since he lost his job at Chelsea he has never say anything good about the current administration not one

This comment comes from a very dark place. You don't accept your team's performance when they win, but accepts it when they lose. 🤔

🗣️ Pat Nevin: "8-2 over this two-legged tie is not flattering and it's no fluke. Chelsea are this far off the standard of this kind of side. They beat them in the Club World Cup but I was never buying that. This is a lot more realistic as to where teams really are." ~ @bbc5live

@Blue_Footy Just accept the fan base wants a new strategy and manager. It’s the right move. Your just being positive for positives sake. It all needs changing

@Blue_Footy None of this applies when the manager isn’t the right manager in the first place !!!

✍️ In a Football Club structure where the Sporting Director makes decisions for the head coach, I can't really blame the coach.
You blame the coach when they are in control of the club like Arteta and Pep. If the coach's request gets overturned, why blame him when things don't work. Just like Maresca wanted a CB and told no, and they it became a major issue the affected our performance. Would you blame Maresca?
For me, I believe every coach has a good future and idea but needs a club that will support and bring it to life. If Edu didn't support Arteta, he won't last long enough to see his team at the top and probably won't get another job. I remember Klopp's first two seasons at Liverpool or Pep's first season at City, they had the back of their clubs to overhaul and rebuild.
This is key point, when you hire a coach, you already know his strengths and weaknesses, because you did your homework on him before hiring him. There is no such thing as a perfect manager, everyone of them needs the support of the club to be successful. It's as simple as that.
If you hire a manager and feel he's for the future, then back him, get him the players, the support, listen to him, make him feel comfortable and feel the trust.
In the Premier League, the sporting directors are over protected. They control everything in the background, make decisions for the coach and let the coaches feel the wrath of the fans when things aren't going well. They need to feel the heat too.
If you feel that coaches are the problem at Chelsea, you're either emotionally lost or can't put your head in the right place to think logically. I will blame coaches at Chelsea when they are placed above the SDs and have the final say on key decisions. Until then, there isn't much they can do other than coach. We can only pray they get along with the SDs to be able to get the needed support to be successful.
In my opinion, our SDs need to sit up, back the head coach and actually build a team that will be competitive. Do I think Liam Rosenior is a poor choice? No. But he's stubborn. He's one of those coach that goes by "my way or no other way". While he was allowed to take 4-5 months to build coach squad to play his football and get results, he won't have that time at Chelsea.
If the SDs who know this fail to provide him the players he will require in the summer and hang him dry, he will fail next season and I hope he does not get the blame alone.
Maybe, then it will be time to review the SDs and their activities so far.

I don't think Liam Rosenior will be sacked this season. He will get to the summer and make changes.
I think we could witness massive changes, a mini reset. I dread this but it looks inevitable now with Liam and his intense style.
All these "He's not good enough" talk is premature. I won't talk about it again, but I will open a bookmark folder, because I will have to remind you guys.
You all said the same about Maresca. Liam has made mistakes but they aren't impossible to fix and he's not dumb not to know that.
So, let's see how it goes. But I believe he will come back stronger from this experience. Bookmark this tweet too and come back next season.
English

@Blue_Footy Vince….he has no experience. That isn’t going to change between now and next season. The project has to change and they need to go big now. Top players won’t want to play for him. He’s a fucking nobody.
English

So, every poor run, sack the coach and hire another one. And you expect a stable team at some point, how?
sureboy 🪖@Asarailu_
@Blue_Footy Yes I said so, let’s not act like the latter stages of maresca’s tenure was rosy. The situation was so bad that he had to resign. All that man asked for was experience and a CB and the clowns at the top ruined it all for us.
English

@Louis_Beneventi I like Jordan but this is utterly ridiculous. Turns out top men have embarrassing moments too
English

I explained on @hooligan_soc why it makes little sense to sack Rosenior now. Rather, he should get at least the summer window, and then we can judge him next season.

English

@Matt_Law_DT Matt probably thinks Liam Rosenior was an acceptable appointment. It’s fine to have a badge on your shirt if you win a trophy. Liam Rosenior being fired for not having a CV should be Chelsea’s first change NOW let alone next season !
English

The first change Chelsea should make for next season is to remove the Club World Cup winners’ badge from their shirts. That would be a start to crushing a culture of arrogance #cfc

@CarefreeJonty @EdFromSouth20 You don’t have any support on your timeline pal. Take a look 😂😂😂😂😂
English

@Munn1Rob @EdFromSouth20 Exactly. Not his fault he’s been recruited then is it🤣
English

@EdFromSouth20 When he has the tools and still makes the same mistakes. Look at that lineup and bench. We’ve spent £2bn and that’s what we have? 😂😂😂😂
