While in Chennai yesterday, indulged my inner cricket-tragic by enjoying a tour of the renovated Chidambaram Stadium at the historic (and totally rebuilt) Chepauk grounds, in the company of its architect, Venkat Aiyadurai, and his nephew, Santhosh Prakash. What a treat! It’s truly magnificent. Will have to return to watch a match there, live! (While I was there, I checked out the bowling machine at the indoor nets too…)
