Bro played 13 minutes tonight. The freshly signed rookie gets better opportunities than he has on day 1. Michkov had no points, 1 shot on goal and 4 turnovers last night in a crucial must win game. He now has zero goals in 11 games and one goal in his last 16 games. He has got to get scoring!

@PopTartBarbies @ksfortier Yeah, I sort of agree but at least Jake would chase down the guy he turned it over to. Michkov makes some crazy plays when they work but I think he’s hoping and guessing a lot. He needs a strong center but he also needs to get a lot better.

@MrGritty28 And guess what? Martone did what a first line winger was supposed to (I know you’re not ripping him), but he competed hard in all zones and had several scoring ops. Michkov has become incredibly one dimensional and it takes the perfect scenario for that dimension to show.

So Michkov had to earn every single second of ice time even after a 62 point rookie season but Martone (who I love and this isn't his fault) immediately gets all the prime ice time at MM39s expense Tocchet man you have to let the Russian hatred go

@letmebefrankbro I would absolutely trade Michkov for Thomas. If Michkov doesn’t improve significant parts of his game by this time next year, it’s a problem. Right now he’s crafty with good vision. What else? I know he’s still young but his on ice regression is a problem.

Robert Thomas is not realistic. Claude Giroux put up 86 points in 2013-14. He was 26. Were you going to trade him for Owen Tippet, Jett, Nesbitt, and a first at that age? Is there anyone on the roster now not named Michkov or Martone that you'd even consider?

At the end of the day, the Flyers have a lot of forward talent and not much else. I think Zegras can be a nice 2C but we don't know that for sure. Vladar is still a question mark to me, long term. Drysdale could be Sanheim. I don't think they can trade their way out of this.
