@OskaArcher @theamwu Gday Oscar, The manufacturing industry is the highest user of energy in Australia. Electricity from nuclear will cost between 2-10 times more. The Dutton proposal is based on a 40% reduction in electricity usage by 2050. Nuclear is a plan for our local industry closing.

Peter Dutton’s nuclear proposal is based upon a 40% reduction in electricity consumption by 2050. 40% less consumption is the same as unplugging both Victoria & WA from electricity. The maths don’t add up. The report is nonsense. Nuclear: Too late Too expensive Too dangerous

The CSIRO has found the cost of electricity generated from nuclear reactors by 2040 would be about $145-$238 per MWh Solar is $22-$53 Wind is $45-$78 Nuclear power would make electricity between 2 & 10 times more expensive Who pays for that?

@Bowenchris The Golden plains project was supplied by @Vestas Not one single tower was made in Australia. Zero. Blade edges are already breaking off & falling apart. Irony -this project is to provide electricity to @snowyhydro - which built a generation of skills & skilled migration.
