#AndhraPradesh: A #fatalaccident occurred at #Keesara #TollPlaza in #Kanchikacherla mandal of #NTRdistrict after a #flyashtanker reportedly suffered #brakefailure. The 16-wheel heavy tanker, heading towards #Hyderabad, went out of control and overturned onto a car, crushing it completely. #Hyderabad-based senior advocate Srinivasa Rao died in the incident. The car (TS09 NT6662), registered in his name and linked to his residence in #Yellareddyguda’s Maruti Enclave, was severely mangled. Rescue teams used cranes and JCBs to remove the tanker after a prolonged operation.

#Hyderabad: The #Telangana government has announced a 2.1% #DearnessAllowance (DA) hike for employees, effective January 1, 2026, said #Transport Minister @Ponnam_INC Prabhakar. #DA has now increased from 50.7% to 52.8%. #Pendingarrears for the past three months will be cleared through #supplementarybills in the coming months. The #hike will add an additional monthly burden of ₹2.82 crore on @TGSRTCHQ. This follows a similar 2.1% DA increase in July 2025, when it was raised from 48.6% to 50.7%. With the latest revision, there are no pending DA dues after RPS-2017 implementation.
