@wwizkidfanpage @SimphiweNz16846 @NigeriaStories This is exactly why we don't want illegal foreigners because they contribute to these stats. Yes we have crime problem but leave and allow us space to fix our country without you contributing to it. By the way, you are busy but hearing each other in Nigeria. Go fix that please.

Igbo cultural unions and community leadership structures in the South African diaspora are voluntary associations formed to preserve Igbo cultural heritage, promote mutual support (“onye aghala nwanne ya”), resolve internal disputes, organise cultural events such as Igbo Day, and maintain traditions among community members. These bodies are rooted in shared ethnicity and culture. They do not seek to establish parallel sovereign kingdoms or undermine South African traditional authorities. Organisations such as the Igbo Union SA describe themselves explicitly as cultural and social entities dedicated to heritage preservation, without claiming any governmental or traditional authority under South African law. The Nigerian Union of South Africa (NUSA) has clarified that titles such as “Igwe” or “Onyendu” conferred within these communities are purely cultural and administrative in nature. They serve to facilitate community organisation and identity preservation, and carry no legal status as traditional leadership under South African law. In the diaspora, the title “Eze Ndigbo” (or similar) typically denotes an elected or selected community representative rather than a hereditary monarch with territorial jurisdiction. This practice is common among Igbo communities in many countries, including the United Kingdom, the United States, and Ghana, and has historical precedent even within Nigeria itself (for example, Eze Igbo titles in non-Igbo areas such as Sokoto). The Igbo saying “Igbo enwe eze” reflects the historically decentralised character of traditional Igbo society, which has no single paramount ruler over all Igbos. It does not preclude the formation of voluntary associations with chosen leaders for coordination and welfare purposes. Section 31 of the South African Constitution expressly protects the right of cultural, religious, and linguistic communities to enjoy their culture, form associations, and practise it collectively, provided such activities do not infringe the Bill of Rights or the rights of others. Similar protections exist under Section 30 for individual cultural rights. Like other immigrant communities (including Chinese, Indian, Lebanese, and various African groups), Igbo associations in South Africa maintain internal cultural structures for mutual support and identity preservation. Such practices are a normal feature of migrant life worldwide and are generally permitted under the constitutional rights to freedom of association and cultural expression. The Nigerian community concerned has stated that the recent event was not a formal “coronation” establishing any kingdom, but a cultural title installation aimed at fostering unity and heritage preservation. The individual involved has apologised for any misinterpretation that may have arisen. Some traditional rulers in Igboland have recommended the use of alternative titles such as “Onyendu Ndigbo” (Leader of the Igbos) in the diaspora to avoid confusion with the sacred “Eze” title, which in Nigeria is reserved for recognised traditional rulers with ancestral links to specific communities. South African law recognises traditional leadership and customary law primarily for indigenous South African communities under the Traditional and Khoi-San Leadership Act and related provincial frameworks. THEREFORE, purely cultural associations remain protected, provided they do not assert territorial authority, land claims, or competing governance structures. Cultural self-organisation among diaspora communities is both lawful and commonplace. It functions best when exercised with full respect for the host nation’s institutions, laws, and people. Did the Igbos in South Africa disrespect you in celebrating and upholding their cultural heritage? The Igbo organisations and individuals in question have not violated South African law by forming cultural unions or installing community representatives for internal coordination and heritage purposes. Be properly guided!

This f00l should be arrested, you can't go all the way from Nigeria to South to make yourself a king in a foreign land. Now South Africa is in Chaos because of him.

For Pan-Africanism to work, all of you must address xenophobia towards Nigerians. No country in Africa has put in their resources for Pan-Africanism than Nigeria, yet, mistakes from few gets other Africans to treat us as badly. No other African country is treated this way!
