@xee_que Please educate yourself. There ARE ways around it. Especially when they are war refugees. Refugee rights and legalization is an entire discipline so please avoid passing statements like these. And how you deport if you do also matters which was inhumane and tragic.

Well they do deport anyone who’s living there illegally. In fact i know a family who got deported from America even after managing to have spent 20 years of their life and making a fortune over there.. So it’s either legal or the deportation is bound to take place, there’s no other way around. Try not to manipulate nations on both sides of the border.

Imagine that the United Kingdom decides to deport all Pakistanis who have settled in UK since 1978, even those born in there. Imagine that the British government would have said that all Pakistanis have to leave within a month. Imagine British police sending armed gangs to raid Pakistani owned businesses, harass the owners and raid their homes. Imagine that even Pakistanis with British documents would be subjected to physical attacks and intimidation by British police. Imagine that the UK would cite over-representation of Pakistanis in terrorist activities, drug trade and grooming gangs as reason for mass deportations. What would be the reaction of millions of nationalist Pakistanis who are now gloating over the misery of Afghan refugees? Will they be still laughing?

I was so uncomfortable asking him to move, stay in his own space, and reclaim my own. And even after I asked politely and he moved, I felt guilty about the possibility of making him uncomfortable. Such micro struggles remind me of much bigger issues that women face. (3/4)
