I’m a little confused about what F1 fans actually want. Battery management but a ton of battles: bad DRS: bad KERS: bad V8/V10’s with minimal passing: bad (but at least they sound good?)

@BlancoAash @wexalian @cytrusf1 Unlike DRS from the previous regulations where it was used as an overtaking aid, active front and rear wings are used to maximise performance on the straights to compensate for the power which falls of beyond 300km/h. They aren't used for overtaking.

After an hour of practice, here are my suggestions for ease of understanding the new regulations: -Use different colors of lights for different battery modes (use green for harvesting, blue for overtake mode, purple for boost). It's stupid that we have LED lights on cars and we don't use them properly -Color the overtake sensor line the same color as the LED lights flash when overtake mode is on -Call active aero DRS, but explain it's been expanded to the front wing and it's now automatic, and don't mention it again, it's a thing now, but if you mention it more than once, people will think drivers can use it where it's just part of the car now -That's it, you do this and it gets MUCH easier, the graphics are too complex

@BlancoAash @wexalian @cytrusf1 Boost gives you maximum power below 300km/h, after that it starts to taper off. Overtake gives you maximum power beyond 300 too, up till 350km/h I think. It's what replaces DRS.

@synkmercedes 3rd fastest car and bottled 2 wins should’ve beaten ric at monza and should’ve won Russia. Ended up finishing behind sainz’s ferreri in the standings which was the slower car on avg that season.

@NishrajB @synkmercedes Should've beaten ric at monza... zak asked Lando to maintain position and not fight Ricciardo. And about Russia 2021, McLaren was asking the driver about which tire to use whereas Mercedes gave a clear call to the driver to pit for wet tires. That's what won Mercedes the race.
