@DFaizriev@iky_fwjett Yeah, cause only the best country in the world can have cancer free patients!!!
Kakaaaa!!! *gunshots* *fucks sister* *rapes children*
i was 19 and casually seeing a girl. then one day! found a lump in one of my testicles while i was taking a shower. went to the doctor and it turned out that it was cancer and that they would have to remove it. oh, and i would have to have at least 2 rounds of the most intensive chemo out there if i wanted to not die. there was also the very strong chance that i would be sterile for the rest of my life. realizing that this was something that i might not survive i ended things and dropped off the face of the planet for the girl i was seeing, as i didn't want to end up being the dead boyfriend. she found out what was going on though and basically insisted that she be with me through it all. she came to every single 8-10 hour chemo session and helped me through recovery.
fast forward 6 years and we are happily married with 2 kids and our 3rd on the way.
Microsoft is reportedly working on removing the mandatory online account requirement for new Windows 11 installs
They are also reducing unnecessary Copilot entry points in apps like Notepad and Photos.
@m4rtin_georgiev@MattP1Gallagher Do me a favor and check the race results of the 2nd race in 2022 (new regs) and 2025 (last year) and how many DNFs we had.
Hint: its the same amount as this one
Imao a boy messaged me on Instagram "this is really weird but we matched on a dating app like 4 years ago and you said you wanted to be a sportswriter and I just came across an article of yours today so congrats" why am I tearing up
@TheOldCootBiker@C_Curtis42@CxmeronCc That statement alone disqualifies you from any sensible statements.
Real fans allow for discussion, not saying "i am smarter than you".
Absolute fucking moron.
🚨 Reports suggest that FIA will consider increasing the contribution of the internal combustion engine to overall power output from 50% to 60%, in an attempt to quell fan backlash. #F1
@Objective_Piece@formuLau16 Different cars have different suspension setups and wings, meaning they all have a subtle difference in downforce and the way the way the tires heat up
Then there is also the cooling of the tires, making sure they dont overheat (this was McLarens advantage last 2 years)
@Objective_Piece@formuLau16 The tires work best at a specific temperature and pressure. Too much downforce, they grip too much and heat up too much and they break down faster.
Less downforce and they are not warm enough to give optimal grip.
Different tires have different temperature requirements
Okay so FP1 summary
Max is not entirely unhappy with the car and wasnt complaining to much
Rb did loose a little time after Max car stalled but no issue after.
The RB22 is munching and eating up the tyres
We are fvcking slow on the straights
Wouldn't go full doom tho. We will see. Honestly I think the sprint is just gonna used as a fp cause we are miles off Merc so yeah.
@AutoPulseX@racefansdotnet People also complained F1 was wrong in the ground effect era, with all the porpoising. Guess we miss that era already, huh?
Let's just wait and see what these changes bring before we all start crying
@AutoPulseX@racefansdotnet People complained that F1 went in the wrong direction with F1.
People complained F1 went in the wrong direction when the halo was introduced.
Ask anyone, the halo was the best thing to happen to F1 in years.
Drivers and teams don't always know what is best.

@AutoPulseX@racefansdotnet The DRS equivalent in active aero isn't an issue, so no.
The battery part is discussable. Had they added front axle regen, the battery issue would've been a lot better.
The biggest problem in F1 is 50 y/o people crying that everything used to be better. Which is wasn't always..
@wexalian@LawVSX Antonelli exited pits with a cooling fan on one of the sidepods, dropped it on track, then Lando hit it, it exploded into a million pieces, Red flagged the session, and McLaren had a broken front wing.
@MCFC_Rog@verstappenews The issue in hand is literally not deployment but recovery with the MGU-K. The MGU-K from last year also had software mapping the recovery, so this also isn't new.
@wexalian@verstappenews I’m not suggesting that at all but when was software ever so important? Never.
Now it controls how battery is deployed throughout the lap, the driver should be controlling it.
The reason behind Max's crash was a software issue, which caused excessive energy recuperation, locking the rear tires. Wache says its ‘an easy fix’ and there's no major concerns
He also says if Max didn't have these issues, the estimation is that he'd be about 3 tenths behind Mercedes
