@jonahdde @Sambannz Especially article 5(4) most of these absurdities are written in law but the powers that be like you don't usually come out to explain them to ugandans I think out of fear of being misunderstood or political persecution. All these have an origin from the sham that was 1900 agmt.

@jonahdde @Sambannz Crown land designation of Kampala ( 1906). And how later constitution promulgations have consequently based themselves on this injustice to continue the legal absurdity. More so in the 1995 constitution.

@jonahdde @Sambannz In that agreement, did you read something like "the seat of the central government of uganda will not be under the jurisdiction of buganda". Did you??

@MusinguziOscar5 @Sambannz I have discussed the agreement numerous times. I just wanted you to point out where you get your opinion from. Instead of hiding behind ‘read’

@AidenKaliisa With ten days to swearing in all the attention should be on the incoming mp. The one who lost an election doesn't have much to say. As day follows night we are all sure the incoming mp is worse! I don't think he can even spell the word sovereign or even understand it.

@jonahdde @Sambannz Target reading and reading bits had always been a big problem to people seeking to understand things especially the spirit in which some documents are drafted You understand them better if you read the whole thing. Please do that.

@emmanuel_dombo A time when all powerful govt officials saw it the obvious choice to send their kids to schools and universities in Uganda. That changed. Today we have several “universities” - anyone can turn their boys’ quarters into one - but the politicians educate their kids abroad!✌️🏾

DAY 489– PC Charles Bahati from Bushenyi shot and killed Julius Ssekamwa, an innocent driver of M/V UAX 460C, near Sheraton Hotel just because he delayed to give way. Bahati fled on a boda boda, passing armed officers—and vanished. Police claim they “recovered” the gun, but no arrest, no trial, no justice. This is cold-blooded murder, and the people of Uganda will not stay silent. We demand immediate action and accountability from: @IGP_UG1 @MKituuma @OTafiire_K @PoliceUg Justice delayed is justice denied. #ArrestPCBahati #Justice4SsekamwaJulius

The Uganda Society of Architects just called for withdrawal of the Sovereignty Bill. Straight lines, courage and candour, by design. Much respect @UgArchSociety. Have you submitted your views to Parliament, or are you waiting for bells? Silence is not safety here.

@AttoGladys The system is broken, people no longer trust it . That's why they will continue asking for the number of that one reliable person at any institution! It's not limited to hospitals only. It's the same everywhere.

Patients get offended when I don't share my phone contacts. However, this is the uncomfortable truth: Patients should not directly be calling any doctor. Phone calls should go to the hospital's reception. They're the ones to call doctors and fix appointments if need be. For doctors working in government health facilities, the same should apply. Just imagine if every patient made a Phone call to the doctor before coming to the hospital 😱. What would be the quality of life of such doctors? Phone calls are very fatiguing.

@antkasirye @Pliam_ @SuunaKing_James And according to you, all over a sudden she no longer has a life. In democracy people must belong to more than one side! That's the principle!! Unless we want to replace one dictatorship with a worse dictatorship!

Firstly, Obviously Counsel Frederick Mpanga is smart. He is sharp. He is analytical. He is incisive. Secondly, Mpanga completely tears apart Kyomuhendo requiring protection. Sadly (3rdly) in front of Mpanga is a Judge called Emmanuel Baguma. Wait for him. 🤣🤣🤣

Frederick Mpanga: a little story. 🧵 Abt 20 years ago, I was involved in a head-on collision with a small truck on Gayaza Road. Traffic police officers decided I was in the wrong. I wasn’t. But I was the one likely to have money, not the other driver, so they seemed to judge.
