@AttoGladys The system is broken, people no longer trust it . That's why they will continue asking for the number of that one reliable person at any institution! It's not limited to hospitals only. It's the same everywhere.

Patients get offended when I don't share my phone contacts. However, this is the uncomfortable truth: Patients should not directly be calling any doctor. Phone calls should go to the hospital's reception. They're the ones to call doctors and fix appointments if need be. For doctors working in government health facilities, the same should apply. Just imagine if every patient made a Phone call to the doctor before coming to the hospital 😱. What would be the quality of life of such doctors? Phone calls are very fatiguing.
